Yeah, I never liked the addition of venice to the novel to begin with. This child belongs to the women that abused and hated vegas. I can't blame him for not wanting him around, in the hospital, vegas was clearly uncomfortable with the idea of caring for this child. Vegaspete have enough issues as it is without adding a baby into the mix. Vegas is the last person who is emotionally stable enough to take care of a child. Honestly not even pete, they both need time to explore their relationship and heal from the trauma.
