I'm rewatching the sex scene of Vegas and Pete -- the sinister lurking behind the shots and lighting never fail to amaze me. Everything was designed to represent these two characters so well, it is an outstanding piece of art. I know there is a controversial point revolving this which is the treatment of BDSM practice. A lot of discussion narrowed to this specific thing and I love how we all interpreted it so different, it is so engaging to find discussion when our opinions differ
I see many people saying that kan was finally proud of Vegas when he handed him that weapon and I tend to differ. It wasn't the pleased look that a father would give his son, but the pride he has for the devil he had created because Vegas is kan's personal weapon but Vegas doesn't know this, he probably thinks that it's finally the day his father will praise him, so he does his absolute best even if it kills him but the one who loses his life is not him but the man who he aimed to make proud -- his father and you can hear the silence when he sees him, he's scared and abandoned, there is no legacy left to protect him, so he raises his weapon and pain swell his eyes😭
All that Vegas knew his whole life was to hurt, kill and destroy. Everything up until Pete, was just pure survival instinct. His weapons were his only reliance so that brings me to the pool scene, If you look closely you'll see that, in the pool scene, you can see the struggle when he holds that gun up to his throat, he wants his weapon to set him free but no, it doesn't work because now violence is no longer his freedom but Pete is. The transfer of dependency from his gun onto Pete is something hard to do but he eventually accepts it.
Korn really gave the position to Porsche not because hes capable but due to Porsche being less of a threat. He…
Yes that's what I said too, Porsche is now in a leash that korn holds and Im glad it isn't vegas at the end of it as much as I would love to see him on the throne, I want him to be free
