Colors are a very important element in this show and as we know Vegas has always been associated with red and sometimes illuminated by green symbolizing a brighter side of him that we couldn't see, its usually just tinted in the background.
I have been thinking about the scene where he finds Pete unconscious. He is emitting some kind of danger that is quickly morphing into a sense of worry that's why the lights went from red to green.
The colours gradually fade during the episode as Vegas's true self comes to the surface. Red begins to mix with green by the end of it. His unknown feelings for Pete are bringing light onto the screen and I love it.
