Yes! It has a complicated story structure that can be initially confusing to first-time viewers, it was hard for me to get into it because I have never seen any wuxia series. The first three episodes plunge you deep into the middle of a convoluted plot, honestly it was seemingly hard for me to get through the first 11 episodes simply because I wasn't used to the atmosphere and just the genre alltogether but after I got through it and just rolled with all of that, The Untamed rapidly became addictive.
