Witch’s court at first seemed like a really boring drama to me, however, it was completely the opposite of what I expected. The plotline was very interesting and even though the cases were different at the end, it all tied together very nicely. Yes, there were some plot holes in some parts but they were very tiny to be noticeable. The writer did an excellent job of keeping the storyline in place. For me, this plot was one of the best I’ve seen this year.

As for the acting, I initially watched this show for Yoon Hyun Min since I had seen some of his previous works but I stayed for Jung Ryeo Won. This actress was so strong at portraying Ma Yi Deum that I cannot think of another actress playing her role. The looks, all the way down to the personality matched perfectly to what I had imagined when I read the synopsis. The characters were all balanced with each other, especially Yeo Jin Wook was the calm to Ma Yi Deum’s storm. Jun Kwang Ryul’s villain acting was so perfect that I hated him since the minute he walked in. His expressions were so good and so convincing that honestly, he should be awarded an Oscar.

Overall, this show was really great to watch and the cases were all super unique in their own way. I loved how halfway through the show, they finally started to connect the dots on Cho Gap Soo’s case and how they slowly revealed all the details. Even though there is no romance tag on this website, there is a hint of romance in the drama and it was very cute. I’m glad Yi Deum and Jin Wook got some screentime with each other. It was the perfect amount to balance all the craziness going on in the show. The ending wasn’t rushed and it was nice to see everything ending peacefully.

I would 100% recommend this show to all users. If you have time and are bored, definitely give this show a try because it was worth every minute.

The only reason I was able to finish it was because of the family aspect of the drama. There was absolutely no chemistry between the two main leads. I almost feel sorry because this could've been so much better if only there were more episodes and their love story was developed. LJS seemed so stiff with his acting here for some reason and SHS is the only one who actually pulled this drama forward for me.

Also, shoutout to all the supporting actors who made this 10,000 times better! (So many while you were sleeping supporting actors! REUNION TIME).

At first the show might seem very boring but once you actually get into it, the story line makes a lot of sense. For someone who was procrastinating watching the show, I fell in love with it after episode 2. It starts off very slow but in the middle and at the end, this show gets very interesting because it actually starts to show how the past relates to the present. Insurance fraud may not seem very interesting to watch but the show really gets you into it. The screenwriter did a really excellent job of tying everything together so well from the beginning till the end.  I never found the show boring even for one episode. It did not make me want to skip to the next 5 seconds or 10 seconds of it. Honestly, this was one of the best shows this year that I watched and it is for sure my number 1 show for 2017. Kudos to the screenwriter who did such an excellent job of showing all the characters shining through and for keeping the storyline true to what it was meant to be.

The characters were very interesting to watch because each character had a different lifestyle and had a different story. Kim Min Joon was my favorite by far because his character was done so well that at the beginning you really seem to hate him but then when you actually get to the middle point of the show and you see his story, you can’t help but sympathize and love him. Woo Do Hwan was a perfect actor to portray Kim Min Joon. His acting convinced me from every expression he showed and every word he spoke. I also loved Yoo Ji Tae’s character because he was so different and opposite of Kim Min Joon. His pain and suffering really showed onscreen with his expressions. Even Ryu Hwa Young did an excellent job of being the perfect female lead who was sensitive enough to care for mad dog members but also tough enough to hold her own in missions. The slight romance gave this show a very nice touch because every scene that had a hint of romance made you take a breather from the intense storyline.

For me this show was exciting, thrilling, and a roller coaster ride. Even with the romance, I couldn’t help but squeal at each part because it was so cute. The ending didn’t seem rushed since everything was building up to the perfect ending. I loved how they didn’t just end right when all the bad guys are caught and actually showed what happens later on with the characters and where they all are in each point of their lives.
If you’re looking for an interesting and thrilling drama, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS. This is for sure my favorite drama of 2017 and I don’t think it will change.
