I love this story mainly for the male lead. Throughout this drama I found myself falling in love with the male actor and the character that he portrayed. From first look, he is a superficial and fake popular male lead. He is very deceptive and he doesn't convey his true feelings to other people. He doesn't coerce people to do things for him, but he manipulates his words and his actions to encourage or push someone else to do something.

The female lead could be seen as a pushover at times, but I could see myself in her shoes. She's a introvert and she has a hard time expressing her feelings and people tend to use that to their benefit.

I do have to admit the drama had me hooked for the first half before it started to get boring. I'm not sure if it's because it started to steer towards another ending, or I felt like the events in the drama seemed to bore me. Some people did end up feeling unsatisfied with the drama because of the ending though. The ending does not have a solid conclusion and the audience is left to make up their own ending but I was fine with it. It kind of left me wanting to know more so I went back to the webtoon but that's not completed yet either.

First off, I would just like to say, DO NOT WATCH unless you're very bored. I actually had high hopes for this drama when I first started as I loved the couple when they were in Eternal Happiness together but it was ok... Then again, if you are familiar with TVB endings then this one isn't so bad.

The acting was not superb as there were a lot of stone face, and Michelle's crying seemed very fake to me. I did not feel any love chemistry between the main love triangle. The story is very long and draggy but it is because there are several subplots and politics. I feel like the whole political idea in the story was very fake because there were so many officials who were able to oppress the royal family and there was no regard for any of them which I felt was not convincing.

I felt like the plot could have been more solid because it was very confusing throughout the story. I thought I would like this, but I couldn't this time. Good luck future viewers...

I actually found this movie off of Chinese TikTok. There was a funny comedic scene that was super light hearted and so I looked for the movie. But just a heads up, the story is a bit sad.

When I first started this movie, the story was very light and comedic throughout. It starts off a bit comedic but there are hints of dark facts and events thrown together. They used cartoons for some of the too violent scenes, and so although we know what’s occurring, it’s not as bad. The fight scenes were also well done, and I throughly enjoyed the show.

As the movie continues, it’s transitions to less funny and more serious. Things such as murders and implied rape occurs and drops the tone of the movie. Overall the story delivers patriotism, brotherhood, and how their determination cannot be subdued by violence. I did enjoy the movie, but I definitely did not come into the show expecting what that. The ending and the transition wasn’t choppy to me because I feel like the ending fit well with the events. The transition was hinted throughout the beginning so it wasn’t a surprise.

The male actor! I saw Ou Hao in the Left Ear, and I hated his character so much. I couldn’t feel much pity for him in that movie, it was because of how the character was built. I didn’t feel like the character was justified for many of his actions and he caused harm to others but managed to get a happy ending. Here though, I was able to see the messages and the emotions he expressed very well.

The female lead!!! I loved her in Glory of Tang Dynasty, so I actually expected more. Especially with that picture where she looks like a rebel, but I agree with someone else when they said that she was just a backdrop. She created an incentive for the male actor in the beginning, but after that, she was pretty much...useless. It’s sad though, I felt like the character had more potential.

Overall, it’s something I would watch again, and I felt like it was very memorable :)

First of all, this story is suppose to be seen as continuation of the 13th Prince/Chen Xiang from some synopsis I read. It has been almost two years since I watched Gong I so I couldn't recall enough details to piece everything together. But throughout the short drama it revolved around 13th Prince/9th Prince(XiaoHao)/Liu Li.

The reason why I actually started this drama was for Zhang Zhe Han. The story is about how Xiao Hao meets Xiao Li and they try to find out what's her identity. It also goes in depth into why 13th Prince's mother died. Overall the story line was confusing for me personally. Like I understood all the events that occurred, but I don't understand why the characters made certain decisions.

On the side note: If you watch The Palace the Movie it's actually based on the same characters but another spin-off -- I actually like that one much more compared to this drama unfortunately. Even though ZZH looked so cute in this drama :/

I'm going to keep this summary pretty short too. I found out about this drama the other day and it was just sitting in my waiting list until I checked it out yesterday. Yep. Yesterday. It took me a while to find a website with the videos working, but the drama was great. It was short, cute, and funny and very lighthearted. The actors (including Yuri) did amazingly well. I knew the other two male leads, but this is my first time seeing Yuri's acting and I'm actually very surprised about how good she is.

The plot consists of a reverse harem (multiple males liking one female lead) and some people could get easily offended from this drama by the way. If you don't think about it too much, you might enjoy this drama but a lot of the male leads are a bit forceful. I noticed some of the the other viewers didn't enjoy this drama as much as me because they said the male leads seem to force their feelings on her, she got kissed but she didn't allow it, they would court her when she rejected them, etc etc. But it seems like most people tend to have that problem with Asian dramas, if that's person is you, you might want to avoid this drama. I don't have that problem so... I liked it.

I love how direct the female lead was with her feelings. She didn't avoid the situation and she would confront them with her feelings. She does have her flaws, but I understood her a lot. I understood why she couldn't forget her ex-boyfriend, because she did love him. She is pretty, she has a lot of people who ends up liking her, but she is not perfect--and not anyone else in the drama either.

I would definitely recommend this drama to friends if they want a cute drama. It's been a while where I found myself rooting for both of the actors, because I came to like both of them.
