watching ep 3 and my only thought is that no job is worth this much effort 😭
People here say it's bad, but I doubt that. It seems they haven't heard about the situation in the IT (developer) field, just for an example. After this peak of the AI era (2024-2025), expectations of their performance are unreasonably high due to AI tools, but before that, they already had it quite bad.
They have one role but must do multiple things (code, deploy, fix bugs, talk with others to analyze etc.), a lot of strict deadlines, you name it. They have to guide the junior developers (people who have less experience than them in the team) and, sometimes, deal with toxic managers too. Working overtime is almost a must. Rack your brain all day while looking at the monitor 9+ hours a day. Yeah, these days most jobs are hard, but IT is just super hard.
This is what I see in Asia. People in EU and the US might have had it better pre-AI era thanks to the differences of their environments. "Coffee break" every 10 minute and all, you know.
And of course, doctors have it bad too...

Read somewhere β€œif you give an ugly man a chance, they start to think they rule the world” because why in…
You are partly true there, mate, but you need to calm down : ))
The emphasis on the "ugly" part is unnecessary. Men have it rough these days too, and your quote about ruling the world and whatnot is just weird. Think for a moment about the hardworking, kind men who work all day to support their family and might be super ugly. Is it even their fault to be ugly? Therefore, don't stress on that word ever. It's irrelevant.
Quote from another user (Desty @DestyPuffari):
"Remember that the character is the ass, not the actor. Repeated insults related to the looks instead of the characterization are going to the wrong address."

Title Viral Hit
Full of really weird things, convenient plot points and whatnots found in webtoons/mangas.
Like how there are absolutely no teachers and school supervisors at all. NONE.
And things around the rich girl just don't make sense etc. etc.
Anyway, kind of okay-ish for a one-time watch.

To me, ML looks like Chow Yun Fat a lot. Especially when he has a grimace during the fights.
Currently on ep 5. I will add more comments later on the whole series.

yeah, kinda disrespectful I must say. Some people just don't know when and where to stop. You can use the word sh*t in your opinions about the details (sometimes we just need strong words in our explanations), but putting it on the title is a bit extreme. It gives too much of a bad impression and just disrespectful to the film.

It's kind of the Kdrama curse (for most series, not all ofc) to be good only until the middle episodes. Here it's the same, it became uninteresting somewhere there.
Not sure if SHS actually performs well in any other series; heard Mr. Queen is really good but didn't find that (stopped after a few eps though because I'm sometimes allergic to over-scheming in historical dramas, so can't say I'm completely fair).
Here she is kind of not expressive too (same facial expression throughout the whole series) and has gestures that *try* too hard to make us think of a "powerful career woman" image (iirc, shrugging, throwing hands with palms out etc. etc.)
But that's partially because of the director etc. so can't blame all on her.
Things seem superficial near the end too, so yeah, not that great...

On Teach You a Lesson Jun 11, 2026
Very good series overall, though of course there are some exaggerations and (on the other hand) oversimplified points. What can we do, it's webtoon (it's practically copying the "24/7 everywhere" school fighting trope from old Japanese mangas - in episode 2)
Main guy did well.
The girl is good, I've liked her from the other series "Undercover highschool" and especially "My perfect stranger". She might never get an AAA role in series but I must say she's entertaining to watch. She's cute here too, though again, sometimes too much screaming.

Title Teach You a Lesson Spoiler
Didn't read the source webtoon but here's my opinion on the kindergarten ep:
The girl is too docile. You can be conscientious in your work, but don't be THAT conscientious and docile, this is to the point you are taken advantage (yeah, that's what happened, but still... it's just unreasonable for someone to be that docile.)
- Who tf doesn't block that biyatch's number after the 5th or so phone call from her to your personal phone number? IIRC, she only tried to ignore the calls AFTER a while.
- And when she advances to the level of appearing at hour house, any normal person would realize "Hey this b is insane. Let's use all my resource to stop this", no?
I know it's shown that she reported to the principal to no avail but that's a previous point in time IIRC (she also consulted a lawyer, but it's a later point in time). My point is that she should do anything and seek help from ANY sources. For example: "Hey Mr. Policeman, isn't it illegal that this woman messaged me 19669 times in the chat app and called 9669 times via phone, even off work too?" 🀣
I get the message & story from the author and that they just want our blood to boil at these b*tches (ep 3 & 5, even more than with the boys in normal bullying scenarios). But stuff needs to make sense. Nobody would be that inactive.

And yeah, the kid can't be fixed that easily as depicted in the end too. He threw stuff at the other boy in the incident. Obviously, it's from the environment with the parents. That won't be an easy fix πŸ˜‚

Title Reborn Rich
Meh series.
Not because of the ending. Nor the plot-holes.
It's because of the series (script + direction) itself.
Quoted: "Like from ep 9-15 It's like the same betrayals happened but in a different department and in the end, it was all a plan of Do-jun"
(From this review: https://mydramalist.com/profile/watching24_7/review/290279)
Like, (more than) half of the episodes of the series are about the scheming against one another and the betrayals of the greedy and not-so-smart people in the family.
I get that even in real life, there are people like that too. But this is a series and it can't be sign of a good series to be like that.
With such writing, the two main characters (Do-Jun and the grandfather) have less space to perform. For example, why tf do I need to care about the stipud wife of the eldest grandson? Or even that grandson, and his father, both of whom are super bland?
Would actually have liked it better if there had been 1 more episode about his kid period (when he just gone back to that time) instead of the ridiculous pew-pew corporation sh*ts.
It's all maybe because of the source material, but still...
Note: my personal opinion.

Yeah absolutely enjoy all the cooking moments. Otherwise there are things that are too absurd to not notice:-…
- So the king kinda had a hunch about how his mother was plotted against and harmed from the very first episodes, and the entire story is about other dudes trying to feed him that other milligram of info/evidence so that he can get super angry? Woah, PhD-level plot right there my man/girl author πŸ˜‚ (plan B is fine, but this plan A is ...)
- Does this king have any clues about anything at all? Other than having a supposedly really good taste bud? 🀣 Looking at his face asking "why, really, why, etc." questions around, especially to FL, might make us question the survivability of the country at that time. Let's not even talk about any more complex problem-solving skills or plotting/scheming (what a king needs).

Yeah absolutely enjoy all the cooking moments. Otherwise there are things that are too absurd to not notice:
- ML getting all cutesy/curious/surprised at everything by FL is really annoying. Abrupt change (I know he was healed by her from the first episodes but it's weird and ... bad. Just my personal opinion, kinda bad acting too.)
- Giving chocolate to a person with mental illness to make them say sane things (in a few minutes)? Woah woah web novel author (or scriptwriter, whoever did this), you need to be more serious than that. There are some other minor issues like this one, this is just an example.

Can we all talk about how ARISU team all survived the train mission while Usagi team barely made it out alive?…
Yeah it seems everyone is curious to know how he (their team) survived that train game in such a (seemingly) easy way.
Kinda sad, it should have been shown instead of the other pretentious emotional BS. After all, this is a survival show - viewers want to watch more of the - well, survival stuff. To avoid duplication, maybe just show what the method is.

That Ryuji dude's face is such a pain to look at.Not talking about the convoluted story and unnecessary stuff…
As some people said, it's quite unnecessary for her to go into this world again.
Not talking about the micro-macro-nano-whatever-the-f-cheating stuff, the script about her returning is just plain obtuse. What kind of wife doesn't share her feelings with her husband like that?
You might argue she's very understanding and don't want to involve Arisu in her troubles and all that stuff, but it's just plain obtuse. Always share with family, girl! Else what are they for?
There are just various other ways to do the script, this is just out of nowhere and ... bad.
Anyway, survival shows are always fine to me, just feel they could have done better and don't be such cash grabbers.

That Ryuji dude's face is such a pain to look at.
Not talking about the convoluted story and unnecessary stuff the scriptwriter introduced, his face is just so evil and dull and irritating to look.
What kind of 3-cent ass(istant ) professor would give that kind of drug to people, watch them d*e AND then get really surprised? B*TCH, of course it'd happen like that because you are not a f*king certified doctor! And to boost, absolutely no medical preparation / consultation beforehand whatsoever! I know it's to introduce his past and to show that he's kind of unstable, but we are not 3 years old, scriptwriter needs to do better than that.
And yeah, Usagi needs to get a grip too because ((explanation below))

Very good movie. Piqued my interest throughout the beginning and, like the boy (coincidentally) said, carried a metaphor through the whole movie. For more info, go on yt and search for clips like "things you missed" or "hidden meaning" etc. That'd prove more useful than staying here arguing with bot-like children that won't accept others' opinions.

On Weak Hero Class 2 May 3, 2025
Didn't read the webtoon so I'll express my opinion based on what I have watched:
This S2 is totally anti-climatic and uh, weak (cough 🀣) compared to S1.
For example, in S1:
- In ep 1, we can 100% feel ML's rage when he beat that guy. He just wanted to be left alone, and the guy wouldn't let him!!!
- In final eps, again we can feel ML's raging rage (and sorrow etc.) when he hunted for that MMA guy. When he smashed the weight on that guy's foot, it's no joke too. Awesome depiction.
In this S2, everything gives off a feeling of ... done in a half-assed manner.
Like, hey oh it's another cool fight. Ok cool bro. Another ep, another ... ok-to-watch .. fight? Final fight leaves not that big an impression too. (Even as someone said, 2 vs 1. And we can't feel the "fire" needed in those moments, like the 2 instances I listed above.) You might say it's because of the story - we can't force a sad reason (like Su Ho's situation). Well, that's what makes a film good or bad too, so my opinion is that it's not good..
Still somewhat ok, but can't live up to S1.
(Rating is another story πŸ˜‚)
