I quite like the story, it's understandable why Xu Yan is trying to erase or hide her past. It seems due to her parents' favoritism towards her sister, she felt like she was not loved growing up. The high school exam was the turning point in her life that confirms it. I had ssomething similar happen growing up that I learned to put on a facade, not lies per say, but a "happy face." I digress, I fear that Xu Yan is going to end up with repercussions from her lies because it's so big that it can't be contained any longer. However, there are definitely parts of her that is genuine - her dedication to her work, she refuses to use shortcuts. That I really admire since she has a boyfriend that she can definitely use. It also seems her love for Hao Ming is also genuine. I'm kind of sad that Hao Ming (William Chan) is basically an accessory character - hopefully its not like that for long.
guys i got confused in ep 2, help. in ep 1, the family aready meet and they seems to already live in tgt. then,…
Yep, they're just speeding forward with the timeline to get the audience up to speed to how they got together. You can tell they got togther, because he's interested in her and vice versa during the hospital scene.
Mobius takes me to my childhood with all the TVB police investigative dramas. I even recognize one Hong Kong actor! So nice to hear Cantonese in a Mandarin drama. It's a little funny when I notice the accents from Bai Jingting when he spoke in Cantonese, same with the Cantonese actors when they spoke in mandarin. haha It makes the drama a little lighthearted than it should be.
I didn't think I would enjoy it because it's very political, but I suppose it is interesting with the way things are in the world right now. I like it thus far.
It's because he "painted " a very good picture of himself with people around him like at work, neighbors…
Oh trust me I understand how difficult it is for DA victims to speak the truth especially in China where domestic violence is common in not just women, but also kids in general.
This drama is flawed regardless. If everyone thought she was crazy, how can she be the top of her class and the class monitor? Her father tells everyone she has paranoia since her mother left, but concentration with paranoia is extremely difficult. Surely, the teacher would've noticed the difference in her behaviors in school as opposed to around her dad. Granted, I would also think the teachers refuse to butt in to how parents "discipline" their children. But surely they should notice the difference in behaviors when her dad came. The teacher even met her outside of school and knows what she's like normally compare to how she was with her dad. It's the fact that the teacher can't even put two and two togther that irritates me. Not to mention, he goes gambling, surely the neighbors would've gossiped about that as well. In addition to that, loan sharks are constantly coming to their house, and none of the neighbors hear anything? The police are useless too as they don't even notice there's something wrong between the two. The police should've bene trained to read body language and notice there was something wrong with the dad. He was very nervous in front of the police, and somehow the police thinks nothing of it.
Why didn't Hai Tang call the damn cops when the father kept spewing shit, stole the class funds, and whatnot? This is pissing me off lmaoooooo Worse father of cdramaland at least the top 3.
Someone please spoil me cause I'm getting irritated with the SNAKE in episode 9. How can he trust Ruling so easily?! Did the snake eventually find out she has ulterior motives or would Ruling finally gain a heart and be good?
She was very good according to me đź¤. Good with stunts and her demeanor fits an easy going lady boss.
Yess, I quite like her stunts in I Am Nobody, but the way she acted there creeped me out (cuz of her character), it was good nonetheless. In this drama, she's just unapologetically hilarious and I love her range of emotions - its not too exaggerated - just the right amount of acting that I enjoy. lol
Out of the cdramas that are currently in the top airing section, this is the only one that has me hooked and I don't know why?? LOL I've always enjoyed Arthur's acting, and the lead actress is somewhat new to me, but she did well in I Am Nobody. :3
