If you like a slow-burn partnership driven by tactical cooperation and strategy, this series is for you. It is a deeply emotional journey that feels especially rewarding for those who understand Mandarin; hearing the original dialogue allows you to fully feel the weight of the characters' intentions and subtle emotions.

Their wedding attire is so BEAUTIFUL!

This is surprisingly good for me. However, if you’re thinking of starting this series:

1. Don’t overthink the storyline or try to apply too much logic.
2. It’s completely fine to fast-forward some scenes.
3. Just sit back and enjoy the martial arts and fight sequences.

Then, it becomes quite an enjoyable series.

Just endure it. It doesn't last very long, and it's worth it. Or you can fast forward a little when they cry.

No specific reason! I think he’s talented, I’m just personally not a huge fan of his modern dramas. But he definitely fits this role perfectly.

Not really a fan of Chen Zhe Yuan but he looks so damn fine in this series!

Tried to re-watch this, hoping I can finally finish through, but still can't get past episode 4, lol... a word of caution: You really need to have a very high tolerance for childish FL in order to watch this.

Gosh, I miss Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin collab.

I have to skip most of the scenes with FL's mother. But in episode 20, there's a scene with FL + her mother that I quite enjoy.

Gosh, I haven’t re-watched this since 2022. Just started, and I still cannot stand how the FL mother treated her in the beginning.

Coming back to this series after POJ. Can't get enough of TXW :)
