In case you are new to this series and want to know the episodes with the death scenes of main characters, check…
1. Qian Zhao (episode 35) 2. Sun Lang (episode 35) 3. Yuan Lu (episode 36) -- I think this is most heart breaking scene. 4. Yu Shi San (episode 39) 5. Ning Yuan Zhou (episode 40) 6. Ren Ruyi (episode 40)
If you like a slow-burn partnership driven by tactical cooperation and strategy, this series is for you. It is a deeply emotional journey that feels especially rewarding for those who understand Mandarin; hearing the original dialogue allows you to fully feel the weight of the characters' intentions and subtle emotions.
This is surprisingly good for me. However, if youāre thinking of starting this series:
1. Donāt overthink the storyline or try to apply too much logic. 2. Itās completely fine to fast-forward some scenes. 3. Just sit back and enjoy the martial arts and fight sequences.
Tried to re-watch this, hoping I can finally finish through, but still can't get past episode 4, lol... a word of caution: You really need to have a very high tolerance for childish FL in order to watch this.

Then, it becomes quite an enjoyable series.
Gosh, I miss Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin collab.
