Mo Yi's death was needed for the plot to become thicker and male leads development, but I truly loved his character so much. Man, I wish they didnt kill him.

I loved how so many people in this drama were given chances to change and become a better version of themselves because truly humans are grey. Sometimes, people can change and sometimes they dont. I loved Zhao Ling’s innocence, the way he was willing to help everyone and anyone, even those who harmed him. Sometimes, I questioned myself, do people like this even exist and would I even want them to exist, because poor guy, he got betrayed so many times and it was heart wrenching to see, if people like him existed then I don't know if I would be happy that people got chances in life or rather be sad that people like him got constantly betrayed. I admired his innocence so much, and I truly hope that in Road of Splendor's fictional world, Zhao Ling can stay like that and always be innocent. I'm glad his free from the court bs.I wish we got to know what their plan was for the future and even more so, what they're currently doing. Zhao Ling was so well written and honestly the best male lead to ever exist in cdramas (as far as I've watched).

To criticise the lack of chemistry between the leads is so wrong and absurd. The bond between Zhao Ling and Fu TingYun was so extraordinary and beautiful. The way they trusted each other, stayed together through thick and thin, loved unconditionally, cared for each other and so much more is beyond words can describe.This drama was truly one of a kind, especially right now, when the majority of C dramas love to portray the male lead as the simp and the female lead as cold hearted. This drama showed us what a true couple should be like. Zhao Ling and Fu TingYun were not just a couple, they were companions, comrades, and trusted aides of each other. They knew each other like nobody else and were always one in thought and heart. They knew that if one of them did something, then it clearly had a reason. They questioned the action, but never the intention.Fu TingYun’s character was truly an eye opener because her love for Zhao Ling was so sincere, unwavering, and deeply devoted. There’s no denying that Zhao Ling’s love for Fu TingYun was just as genuine, loyal, and unconditional. The reason I especially want to highlight Fu TingYun is because, in Cdramas, it is so hard to find a female lead who is this loving, caring, and wholeheartedly devoted to the person she loves. This drama reminded me of Lighter and Princess, both of them have female leads willing to die for their love, be brave for their love, confess to their love, declare their love, remain loyal to their love, wait for their love, and care for their love. Both had male leads who were also worth the female leads love, care, and devotion. Every action of Zhao Ling was so well written, he was the greenest flag of cdrama, having a partner like him is truly a luck. He constantly proved how much he was willing to give up everything for his love, including his life. He killed for her, was willing to die for her, fought for her, wad there for her, choose her over everyone including the emperor, and overall changed himself to a better version of himself, just for her. Honestly, this drama has become one of my top favourites. I’m so glad I still gave it a go after seeing all the negativity surrounding it because it was truly worth it. I cannot wait to rewatch it and fall in love with one of the best couples in C dramas all over again. ❤️

People really have to fucking write stories with both genders loving equally, im so tired of male simps. its sexist as fuck.

its so fucking stupid bro 💀 from the grudge to her constantly being mad about him rejecting her offer is annoying and it seems like it wants to tick of the enemy to lover plot so badly with no actual fucking sense. She literally gave out a letter in the big 2026 instead of fucking trying to communicate and then after constantly getting rejected by him, she continued to try and give him the letter leading to him being pissed and then she now feels like she lost dignity??? Plus I get it that she thought that and etc but why is she still going on about it even after accepting the offer like rhats so fucked up. I also hate that how they try to potray that shes a complete different person in 3 years like thats not fucking possible. Her career centred brain is also fucked up like if they are planning to put so much focus on her career then why bother making it a romance drama???

Majority of the deaths in this drama was done for basically no reason, they had literally no depth to it and cannot even comprehend why they killed so many characters for no reason. Yu ShengHai, Su QingZhu, and mute character (I geniunely dont remember his name), all of their death had no plot to it and it was just confusing. Yu ShengHai could've easily had few years in jail and then come back because everything he did was honestly justifiable, instead I believe Officer Liao should've passed away because he was an evil character that required some empathy. Su QingZhu, dont get me started, I do not even know why they needed to kill her, maybe because they wanted to make Luo Xiang a heart broken person or something, low-key I have no clue because it basically ends with her death and everyone who died being shown like we didnt even get a sad grieving moment. It also saddens me how Luo Xiang treated Su QingZhu the whole time, she was willing to give her life for him, but he didnt even visit her when she was sick. I'm devastated that the drama took their plot this way since I was truly enjoying every bit of it.

I also would like to comment the way Su QingZhu aka Song Yi was one of the main characters in this drama, yet, they barely gave us any chance where we could truly enjoy her character; I would've really appreciated if we had atleast one episode where Su QingZhu was the hero instead of constantly pushing Luo Xiang. I do understand that the whole drama is based on Luo Xiang, but it's the fact Su QingZhu didn't even get to be in a single operation and rather Zhang XinYao had more plot and even her chemistry with Luo Xiang seemed like they were rather a couple. It made me feel like Su QingZhu was the second female lead, who is an ex of the male lead, and she couldn't move on from him. I'm truly disappointed that the writers wrote so many characters extremely well including other female characters but made the female lead so weak; her death was also one of the dumbest ways to die, she couldve easily head shot him, it's not like she isn't that capable because we saw her with sniper, and it would've also made the whole entire plot way cooler. I feel like they really played us especially in the episodes where they showed us how well she is trained, how smart she is, and even her her shots were so clean, I atleast wished we could have somewhere that all of these character traits could be used, and instead of the drama telling us that Su QingZhu is smart and capable, they rather showed us that.

Now that I think of it, we don't even know how Luo Xiang and Su QingZhu met or what was the reason behind Su QingZhu becoming a undercover police. To say the very least, I'm extremely disappointed and saddened by the way Su QingZhu's character ended. In the positive note, I really loved how determined she was and how much of a lover girl she was. In cdrama, it's rare to see female lead loving the male lead so much but this drama was able to showcase that which is respectable.

Yu Sheng Hai, the character, was so amusing to see!! I despised the character with my whole heart in the beginning and then loved him and even cried for him. The actor, Gong Hai Bin, is honestly a hidden gem. The way he can confuse me any second of the episode is truly fascinating and it blows my mind. I also have to give credit to the writers for making all the plot twists so well written like it all somehow was so understandable yet confusing. If you don't pay attention to the drama then you had to go back and understand because every bit of it is extremely even those that don't seem to have much worth when it is playing.

I loved every bit of the drama, just am disappointed that male lead is not someone that is even remotely close to the character in real life.

I'm on episode 15 of Day Breaker, and the drama is full of twists, confusion and suspense. Honestly, at some point in the drama, I feel like both of the officers are questionable and at other points they seem like officers undercover trying to act questionable to lure the drug dealers. It is so exciting yet confusing to watch. The writers clearly did an amazing job on making it suspenseful, unfortunately, it did lead to frustration as well. Sometimes, police officers seemed more like criminals and criminals seemed more like a good to society, for instance, Lin Zhan Xiong, Liang Long and all the other characters.

the drama was slow paced but the friendship of the group made it so much better!! I'd give it a 10/10, but it's worth a note that the pacing is quite slow !! ♡

ahh ill try my best to finish it but where I'm coming from is that her favouritism was quite evident and annoying since it seemed like she only allowed the fl to do stuff even though in general others were probably better than her whether it came to iq or eq. If it was IRL then that wouldnt be so nice, since everyone should deserve equal opportunity and she really didnt allow others to show their abilities, shes js pushing the FL. I think its js accepted bcz she is the main fl and if she wasnt then people would probably be more vocal about the favouritism she showed her. anyways im still too new to it, so ill probably take my words back after watching few more epss!! 😭😭

im on ep 4 and honestly professor seo seems to show too much favouritism wirh dr oh which is extremely unfair for others especially dr sa bi who is geniuneky interested in becoming a doctor. 😭

Lin Wanxing is truly the type of human I aspire to be. She’s so smart, kind, brave, honest, and understanding. I honestly loved her so much, she truly is a sunshine in their lives!

I really loved Wang Fa’s personality. He is so kind and truly one of the best male leads I’ve ever seen! The way he reassures and trusts her!!!! ahhh, be is so smart, educated, well-mannered and such a green forest. I’m so happy that Lin Wanxing and Wang Fa are both so cool and such green flags!! I really wish we could have a Season 2 of this!! 😭

I also want to honourable mention Ju Li, she is such a nice friend!! OMGEEE having a friend like her is truly some luck!! I hope Lin WanXing appreciates her more and more day by day!!! Ju Li is so amazing and literally the bestest friend one can have!!! Yu Bo was such nice add to the drama as well, him and Wang Fa are so cute!! their bromance was such nice add on!! I loved watching their bikering, friendship, work talk, comforting and overall everything!! they both truly have such an amazing friends.

I’ll miss everyone in the cast and all the characters!! Ahhh, Lin Wanxing, Wang Fa, Wen Chengye, Fu Xinshu, Qin Ao, Lin Lu, Chen Jianghe, Yu Ming, Zhang Feiyang, Feng Suo, Zheng Ren, Yu Bo, Ju Li, and Wang Tian!!
