It's a nice drama to watch if you're going through a CDrama slump like me or you just want to watch something light! I'd rate it as 7/10; it reminded me a lot of cdramas I used to watch before
How good is it this new season? Im a big fan of the 1st season and why Shi Jia is only support role in this?
Firstly, I think its definitely upto preferences but I really enjoyed this season as well as the last season!! Also, Shi Jia's character, Lin Yi, had pretty much same screen time as Mark Chao (Zhou XiaoFeng) and Mao Xiaotong (Fang Xiaoran) who both are labelled as the main leads so I'm not sure why it's put as support role especially since I believe his character had a lot of important plot in the story and even had more screen time than Mao Xiaotong (Fang Xiaoran). I really really liked the patient stories, I also liked the relationships especially how smart and mature they are with it which is quite rare, I also LOVEDDD the apprenticees and overall the whole story for me was personally a 10/10!! It did make me cry a lot but it also made me giggle a lot!
how was the ml in will love in spring flawed?? the fl was flawed and it was a one-way street. ππ
And didnt she say he basically forced her and it was sexual harassment? with her putting these type of allegations, how could he possibly contact her back again? plus she was the one who insisted
I don't really understand how Chinese entertainment work, but some actor/actress goes from support role, to have…
1. it depends on who the cast is, if the cast is a-list actor/actress then some actors/actresses are willing to play support role as they know the drama is going to blow up and sometimes because they love the cast and etc. 2. Some actors/actresses have it hard and even after the drama doing really well with them being the main role, they still dont get offers/accepted for main roles in other dramas so to pay the bills, their only choice is to become a support role. This probably happens more often in cdrama because there is too many rising stars in China right now and unlike others, Chinese actors/actresses even whilst being so famous, they are willing to cast in multiple dramas as main leads incl 3-4 dramas per year so there is only limited roles for others.
the operation on ep 23 fell abit flat because wdym director luo cant do a basic heart surgery while being a surgeon and needed director lins help like as a surgeon how incompetent can he be? π seems like another moment made to make director lin look like such great surgeon whilst downplaying everyone else

he wasnt avoidant and nor was his heart closed off, most of the times her conflicts were so one sided that the ML was confused for the majority. She made the whole relationship about herself. Go silent and retreat? bro he has 0 clue about what shes arguing about majority of the time because she hates communicating. She has a past, yes, but like the saying goes you cant love someone else before you love yourself and the whole drama was basically her trying to love someone but due to her insecurities, she became hella toxic.
