Ugh, the FL’s mother is such a problematic character for me.
In a lot of was she’s worse than the blind date guy. Maybe that’s the hallmark of this genre not listening or not paying attention when a full grown adult woman (or man) says NO.
Now because the second oldest brother needs the support of his family and sister-in-law, evil FL’s mother will use it to manipulate (or “pimp”) her daughter in to more dating of blind date bozo golf guy… who put in the mother’s tiny brain that her daughter needs to leave the brewery to date someone.
Well not the LX hotel guy, but we have weeks + to go to get close to that possibly.
I have rarely used the button, though I might have to because the mother’s scenes make me want to stop watch the other 90% of the show!
Guess its time for 2nd bro to move in with sis in law. Really enjoying tis wkender.
I think the FL’s mother needs to move out or maybe in with the golfer guy herself. She’s a toxic, disgusting & hurtful person. The word no must be least understood work in the Korean vocabulary in the Kdrama world! 🤦🏻♂️
if the 2nd brother moves in the FL’s mother will become even more toxic and emboldened! 😡
I haven't started watching this drama yet. How much screen time do O Beom Su and Dokgo Se Ri have? I want to watch…
While their story is probably the most sought out, it seems very minimal per episode.
Out of the roughly 7+ storylines running concurrently theirs (including the cutest baby) seems to be shown close to least. The 3rd brother’s story (dancer/ex-idol) is arguably the least popular but seems to see the most airtime.
Sometimes Beom Su /SeRi also appear within other stories or their own. I think this will change, but maybe that’s wishful.
We are not at the halfway point, if that’s the only reason you’d watch, your watching minutes would go by very quickly. You would be pressing the FF button 95% of the episode.
So far out of the many 50+ episode weekenders I’ve watch this is in the top 5 of being an overall decent watchable show.
I wish I could give you better news, but check back in another 10 episodes (5 weeks) maybe things will happen quicker than it’s currently going. I hope another regular watch also gives their opinion, but this is honestly my current thought. 🤔🫣🙂

I’m not one that likes spousal abuse or senseless violence, but with GB it just kind of feels okay 😂 okay not in real life but for a fictional character I can put up with a few more episodes of it 🫣
I’m sorry I can’t take Mafioso grandma seriously 🤣... she’s in fashion but suddenly she’s got a crew…
The perspective that Kdramas give me as an outsider is Korea is a hit first, talk at the police station kind of place!
Unless you are super rich than no rules actually apply to you! 🫣🤯🫤
Why couldn’t HD say: why were you meeting secretly with you exwife? I know he’s stupid but lying to your wife when that’s her 1 super hot button is no bueno!
I did like yesterday the leads discuss SJ’s decision about leaving the company and how her leaving would effect him, etc…
Though SA’s sole reason to be the director is to screw over SJ & not make a profit.
It shows the the leads have the potential to logically talk through situation and solutions that would help them both together! That’s seems like a positive!
I love the killers response to the chairwoman. Your son died because the cop sent him my way. It is all the cops…
I read that GH changed the chairwoman’s mind, but the diary makes more sense.
I’m not a chairwoman fan at all, but for 20+ years she can’t she her controlling nasty ways lead her son on the road to meet the detective that day. As dumb as the caveman cop acts he didn’t wake up and say I’m going to get DS’s father murdered today. He poor “acting” as a cop got DS’s father in front of a killer. Most of the time in police shows they want to keep civilians away from criminals for this reason. GH’s dad should have been demoted and received mandatory counseling.
Not as an excuse, but as a beginning to lead a productive life DS’s father physically died and GH’s dad was emotionally destroyed…realizing what he did wrong.
I will be sort of surprised regarding someone as obtuse as the chairwoman character can realize the error of her ways. She thinks be a it’s her decision it must be right. it’s a troubling narrative part if this show. But they have 5 episodes to get it squared away! 🫣😡😳
ps: I say again after seeing her “gang of thugs” Audrey had and has very good reason to fear her brutal mil!
sang Ah has to be one of the stupidest directors i have ever seen. she is going to bankrupt and ruin her father’s…
I just caught up on this week’s episodes. Maybe because I was away from it for almost a week, but it is almost painful to watch the idiocy displayed more than 30 minutes a day!
I’m tryin to find out why this wasn’t explain years ago when it happen., if you think about it.. to me the…
I think the chairwoman is an evil criminal boss. No simple fashion company chairperson! I think Audrey has had good reason to be afraid and run away from the mother in law.
Did you see what she was going to do to the murderer?
I thought I was watching a different show during that scene 🎬 !!!
I think the point was really reinforced when the 5th brother gave his thoughts and feelings unsolicited to the chairman at lunch with Bom - about his sister-in-law!
Definitely needed some digestive pills to digest this love story btw leads. If it is some kind silent one-sided…
My thought is the ML had trauma being abandoned by his mother and then soon after seeing he father bleed to death, dying in front of a young Dan Soo (maybe 7 or 8 years old). The FL was his only friend, savior and protector. That’s where is love comes from… is it healthy 🤔 I really don’t know, lol! I’m just happy this frustrating series is almost complete! 🙏🏼🤦🏻♂️🫣

This character isn’t her usual go to character, right?
(It just amazes me what a grade A actor she is in all she does!)

Sadly it can be a difficult culture at times…
Especially viewed from the outside 🤔
Thank you for the words of wisdom! 👏🏻
