This is a trope right ? my last family member is sick so she wants to see me maried before she dies. We know that…
So true, it’s really sad that the elders in these kdramas never care if their child/grandchild is happy marrying a person they aren’t attracted to, just get married and have babies.
(That kind of illustrates one reason S Korea’s birth rate is so low!)
I just finished watching this now. I liked your review and it was very accurate.
This is the second time I’ve seen the FL. I think she’s a great actress (or is it actor these days?). It breaks my heart seeing her cry. Maybe that’s why the script had her crying so much? It brings more emotion to the story? Maybe not?
I saw her in “I Need Romance” a rom-com. It was enjoyable with minimal tears!!
That is a very accurate observation.SK mothers hit first and seem to not use their brain!I get that Korean culture…
That is a very fair point - especially since the mother doesn’t knock, just walks right in! Almost no one knocks before entering a room. (Even the father walks in to his daughter’s bedroom.)
It is really true about the lack of respect:
The daughter (writer) is at least 23 years old maybe more. I get respecting your parents but she (amazingly) abides by the ridiculous curfew, her mother imposed. 🤯
What is with these violent mothers? Kang Yeon Ja keeps hitting her daughter's work/romantic partner like a little…
That is a very accurate observation. SK mothers hit first and seem to not use their brain! I get that Korean culture is different from the Western one but it’s almost in every Kdrama.
The mother gave her youngest daughter a curfew. Though she’s okay with her daughter and artist being in a room all day alone. Anything that can happen after 11pm can happen before 11pm. 🕚 🙄
Gwan Sik had something to do with Gyeol's father's death. Sigh.
Do you think GS might have been forced to say he was responsible? DC is a very unethical person… and he might have done something and forced GS to cover it for him?
I like your user name, love triangle are the no fun!Regarding this show, it - to me- is too close to call. There…
Again this is just my opinion, the ML was very attracted to the FL, eventually. Then the FL had the “heart beat” thing that she didn’t realize what it was.. because that’s a thing for 30 year olds in Kdramas. 🫣
However the FL confessed first and clearly! She’s not a pushover, and fairly strong if a bit naive in the world.
yas this marinated long enough, i will be starting this soon 🥰 can someone tell me who falls first? ML or FL??
I like your user name, love triangle are the no fun!
Regarding this show, it - to me- is too close to call. There were little indications on both sides that there was a growing attraction. When you watch, it will be interesting to see what you think.
There is a definite lead who confessed first, but I don’t want to spoil anything because it’s been really enjoyable to watch!! Enjoy!!
Now that this show is finally fully released on Viki, what does everyone think of it?
I love the original. And while slightly different, I loved this as well!
And no annoying kdrama “noble idiocy” trope was definitely appreciated!
This is one of the first Filipino dramas I’ve watched and it was fantastic. The main cast was cohesive and the story faithful to the original. The expanded ending was an excellent choice! (I wish Korean version did that as well!)
why seungri s family had this awkward look on their face ..... they were the strange for me ..... seungri had…
Exactly! And nobody knocks before opening a door and then they just walk in. I know they’re family but she could have been changing her clothes. Privacy doesn’t seem to exist. Ahhh kdrama problems.
Could you please answer below questions for "Spring Fever" (Please feel free to share spoilers)1) Happy…
I replied by message. The is a great, easy watch! At least for me. There are Very few dramas, that people agree 100% on it’s being great! So you should watch at least a few episodes and decide if it’s for you! And check your messages for answers to (most) of your questions. 😊
actually the ML didnt take or use SML money, we saw a couple of ep ago when the ML and SML met again the ML directly…
I thought I understood that he used the money in the past but returned it with interest… conveniently in the same box ac decade or more later! (I could be wrong.)🫣
Listen I didn’t like the SML in the beginning but now I really don’t like him. Imagine you have a best friend…
I think your on to something there! If not Koreans in real life taking responsibility for deaths they didn’t cause, it’s definitely Kdrama writers’ that do!!
"I meant to ship someone atleast there should be a one pleasant scene right ?"to preface I don't ship…
Did the prosecutor’s father convict the FL’s father? I think it was alluded to at the elevator. And if that’s the case “ship” or not they won’t be together. 🫣
Thanks for the warning! The clip I saw on YouTube looked really well done and engaging in two minutes. That must have been from the early episodes. I really dislike these tropes and the misogyny of male dominated, non-equality based society often shown in many Asian dramas, be the J, C, or K.

Don’t even get me started!! 👍🏻
(Multi generational living seems challenging, but without respect & boundaries > Yikes!!)

(I haven’t seen today’s episode yet.)

I’m not sure if this helps or not…🤔

Besides his abs, she saw a video of him smiling at her where her team was celebrating winning the competition at school.
She might have a biggest character arc at this point! 🤔
