I don’t think there’s actual scientific correlation between rain and fever. I picture US Navy Seals training for hours in the cold Pacific they all don’t get sick. I think if your stressed or your immune system is run down sickness can be a result. Not a guaranteed result.

In my opinion he won’t be a good father just because he takes care of the little boy he just found out about and isn’t part of his other child life.
