Hm. We need to still keep in mind that it's a KBS family drama made with low budget and below average scripts.…
I can’t elaborate too much at the moment, but maybe it has to do with a typical Kdrama being 16 episodes (+/- 16 hours) then suddenly they have a canvas to fill with almost 10 times the number of hours.
To me though I do enjoy watch KDramas many lose steam & focus in the middle or at the end. I’m always sad when after 15 episodes the final episode is rushed and unsatisfactory to complete the story.
Also KDramas are generally 1 season & done. So 120 episodes can be a big jump for writers!
By contrast American television can go on for years & years: Dallas (14 years), Friends (10 years), General Hospital (60 years and still going)
I’m not saying more is better, but commercially they have to be profitable and watchable to go on for years. And I’m not saying one country’s shows are better than the others.
Just random thoughts and I’m not giving up on KDramas as I love them (most of the time)!!
Ep 14 was very sad! But hopefully in 106 episodes it gets better? 🤔SangAh is a horrible mother. 😡NamJin…
Makes sense. They should broadcast late. In the US when they interrupt regularly scheduled programming in the afternoon they broadcast the show late at night. (especially soap operas)
Namjin was warmish towards Jihyun at the beginning... granted, we don't see much of Namjin and Seonju interact…
That’s a lot of good speculation on your part. If they don’t use your ideas, you should stat on your own story!
The only thing I wonder, I think SangA’s mother lives in the family home with the entire family. She owns a fancy beauty salon and her second daughter (SangA ‘s sister) is an actress (sorry that’s my age) is an actor.
During one of SangA’s diatribes about not wanting her son or to be a mom, she wanted to send the son TaeRi to a boarding school. Dad is against it as is TaeRi. SangA's mother told her not to back down that being uncomfortable will make TR stronger as dad coddles him too much. I thing the child has emotional issues and imo Dad is helping him. Or trying his best to help him. 🫣🤔🫤
PS: I really hope they “kill-off” a child. Though in some KDramas it seems they prefer that to orphans or one parent children. That is one aspect of the SK society that’s seems really unfair in an enlightened (?) society

I must remember not to upset you! 🫣

(I know you may not have the answer, so in that case it’s semi rhetorical.)

> Looks like it might be the Emergency Impeachment Situation 😞
You are very knowledgeable!
🫡(This is a salute.)
Just asking, do you know what’s going on, or is this common for this network MBC?
The rich mother on this show is an abomination.
She even said to her husband she shouldn’t have had a child.
I don’t think (if it was in real life) you could fix that attitude. 😡
I saw @Tamaki posted the instagram message about Tuesday’s episode being cancelled.
I don’t know what happened there on Tuesday…🤔
I was sad when t ended! 🫣
According to the episode guide we should be on 17 or 18…
Both S & S are great parents individually and good people.
All 4 will make a power family! 🤔
When you’re a parent your kids need to come first 99% of the time.
[1% is for the parents]
( That’s according to the movie Blended with Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore)🫣
But hopefully in 106 episodes it gets better? 🤔
SangAh is a horrible mother. 😡
NamJin is a horrible father. 😡
She and NamJin seem perfect for each other! 🥂
It sounds a little like Perfect Marriage Revenge… which I really liked!
I stumbled on it, started watching & it’s pretty good so far! 🤔
I finished ep 8 last night… I’ll look for you on that page!!!🔭
