Ahh, the benefits of living in SEA! In other news Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale was finally shown here on Paramount + streaming service š¤¦š»āāļø
I had no idea the the FL was 39!?! To me maybe she looks like in her late 20ās at most. I really am getting old, everyone looks like a ākidā to me these days! š“š»
So the drunk "couple" is going to end up with an unplanned pregnancy which is actually something she will be happy…
I agree on both counts!
However, weāre only 7.5% of the way through the series⦠(yes, I used a calculator š) Thatās a drop more than 1 episode of a standard 16 episode Kdrama.
There is not one endearing character yet⦠A looong way to goā¦š¤
Honestly, I don't have high expectations for 120+ episodes TV series. This one isn't bad so far. It has a laid-back…
I know it may be obvious, but it feels like a ākind of traditional American soup operaā. Low angst, right now and a half an hour to look forward to Mon - Fri⦠š¤
Yes.Not that it matters but they knew each other and were in the same class in college. Her rationale, not that…
Well thatās two people recommending (and many others, Iām sure!) Fiery Priest!! šš» with a second season it must be good! š¤The movie idea to complete a series is a good idea! That way they donāt need to 6,8,10 or 12 hour long episodes, just a concise couple hours and make the fans happy!

Yes, I look forward to them as a coupleā¦working as a teamā¦without pity for each other! I wish there were more episodes per week! They are both great actors!! I haven seen her since Interest of Love⦠And heās been in a few shows Iāve watchedā¦ ššš»š (And I canāt not watch until itās overā¦lol!)

Canāt wait to see how the writer resolves this issue. Between him not calling and the pity statement, the ML is digging a very deep hole for the FL to āburyā him in⦠(and he seems to be more interested in her lately š¤) šš«£

The ML did recognize her and was hit by a car initially trying to figure out if that was her. While recovering, he left the hospital with iv in tow. Saw her at the convenience store and called her to verify for himself that it was in fact her. She knew it was him immediately because of the lighter click.
And she could make out his face in the very center of her low vision. Now, She still can see almost a pin hole size field of vision in the center.
I hope you werenāt upset by reply. I wrote that way so those opposed to pre-marital sex would take offense and attack. š«£š
Oh mom definitely treat the older two siblings differently, probably neglectfully as the older sister said.
I wasnāt doubting that they were treated as 2nd class kids. And their hurt prevents them from not blaming DR.
I dislike greatly how full grown adults are treated in most KDramas I watch. When mom told the older sister to moved back home and give her the moneyā¦that really irritates me. Itās wrong. I get why mom does, it doesnāt make it right.
I completely understand momās desire to not let her child go blind. But I have not doubt she treat the DR with more care and attention.
If you want to dislike the DR character, thatās your choice.
I understand the FLās siblings could be unfairly resentful, but they are downright mean to her. š” She didnāt ask their mom to treat her any differently than her brother and sister. š¢
Yes, it says in the summary Da-rim started losing her vision at 14. In ep 1, in college, I think she was using the white cane (couldnāt find an actual name) that people with low-vision and blindness use, in the crosswalk.
(Extra info from looking it up: a white cane with red bottom means the person has low vision, an all white cane means theyāre totally blind. I found it on the internet so it may not be 100% correct.)
Ji-Na was pretty brutal during the proposalā¦I thought she was in love with the guy who proposedā¦ š¤š«£š¢
If you really want to know read on:
It was very childish, he thought he was on a blind date, she thought she was interviewing a prospective model. Ji-Na a messed up the locations, she was to go on the blind date. The ML has been in the US and or is a chebol (spelling?) and doesnāt talk very formally. She talks about his flat butt, he gets offended calls her a pervertā¦she get offendedā¦. Next scene she has him in a headlock, heās pulling her hair⦠Ji-Na walks inā¦
A few episodes later⦠if you havenāt watched ⦠I will keep it to myself (lol)š«£

I need to give it some thought as to DaRimās culpability in this issue and see if she should apologize to her siblings for the way mom treated her.
Letās see what the writer does with the characterās that cause so much discussion! šš«£š¤
