I find with some KDramas the first episode isn’t enough info to make a clear decision about liking the series.

Example …for CLOY, I watched the first episode in parts then the second episode as well. I couldn’t get into it, but finally I really started enjoying by episode 3.
Some shows just take a bit more insight before it becomes watchable.
If it’s still not engaging by episode 3… it’s probably time to move on.

This show was very different for me from the first scene. There’s a lot of back story about both leads that we need to know about as well. The FL’s sister is a great actor in many different roles.

The FL’s mother is a selfish piece of trash that is willing to pimp out her daughter for money.
She has to be the worst mother character in Kdramas currently.
I hope the leads’ love survive her schemes.

The FL leaves before ML, but of old age. It was in 2074 that HI passed.

Definitely some inconsistencies and over the top scenes! Especially the gun pointed at an unarmed man, wasn’t he in handcuffs?
And ES getting to the intersection when HI clearly left way before him. 🫣

Still, there’s no perfect drama, but this one was really good imho!

He seems really nice in the bts footage, but I hate his character in QoT!!!

You are of course entitled to your opinion and not to watch the show. Yes there may be some problems with the story but it’s a great watch.

HW was worried that HI’s chaebol family would injure or kill him when he tried to leave it (I believe). It was very early on, and he had a reason to fear that.
He was relieved that he wouldn’t be killed by her family when he asked for the divorce.
Afterwards when he came back to reality, he was worried about his wife.. and never intended to divorce her.

Also ES broke into his safe and forced that to happen.
Aside from that, the only mistake that HW made was not shredding the divorce filing document when he decided not to divorce her.

You should look into IONTBO… It’s emotional but he was awesome in it! (All the actors were great!)
