There are many tropes and issues with all members of the family and beyond!
If you don’t mind angst and understand these are written for the domestic audience, (a weekender / family drama) then it will be a good watch!

I say written for the SK audience as opposed to the international Netflix viewers.
Definitely try it. If you don’t enjoy > you’ll know it! 😊

Just something I thought was funny related to fashion that you mention in your posts from time to time.

Some of these characters are super rich - very wealthy chaebols. They wear $5000 suits or gowns. But then at home they wear them with slide-on fuzzy slippers!

SR can wear a gown with those heels with the red colored sole (her soul is black) that are so expensive but a home… fuzzy slippers.
Even GC looks much less threatening in the open toe slippers wearing a suit!

I guess it’s the juxtaposition between the cost of the outfit and the at home footwear.

(I know it’s a custom in the culture and honestly it does make sense!)

Maybe you know, but SR was in the US and I think GC married her before JI, but I’m not certain. GC’s family was trying to do the math when SR showed up with the son. 🤯

Also the son knows SR set JI’s son up to meet JI saying she would bring him. I think if that gets out GC might end SR. 🤔
