I took a 1.5 week pause of this drama and I was just 2 eps shy of completing this drama. I just finished it, and I have not finished a drama since summer of last year. It was a good ride. I was left with a bit of a disappointment of the ending, why does every drama have to have the lead go back to modern world, why can't they just stay in the world where they transmigrated. I really wished this drama followed the novel, it would have been more satisfying. Overall, I would give this a solid 9/10. Hoping for more collaborations between the lead.

she's a smart lady from the very beginning. instead of joining any companies, she rather work her way up. As long as you aren't afraid of working hard, not afraid of being taken advantage (meaning sometimes it's free labour or not giving credit when it's due), there will always be opportunities to be grasped. It's a slow road but it's still a path to the destination you choose.

I do admit I would someties want her to be a traffic star bc traffic stars' fans get constant materials from their idols. They are never hungry and constantly fed, while we have to fast some days and even months. I enjoy cp hype, I feed off of that sometimes. But, I've come to accept that's how ss is, she's her own boss, she can choose what scripts to take, what promotions to attend. We just have to accept haha

I also want to add that during the award show there was no traffic star there. So that distinctively seperates traffic actors to actors that focus on their piece and acting-not just the spot light and fame. Unknown people may assume ss isn't as popular as the traffic stars and use that as an excuse to backlash her, but they never think that the route she chose. She chose to focus on her work, to have a work life balance, to use her work to speak for herself, to use her dramas to gain recognition and acknowledgement from fellow respectible seniors and directors. She's humble and low key, only appearing on reality/variety shows when needed to promote her piece. By attending the award show, and able to sit among the other respectible guests and in first row, and as a presenter of awards, shows the industry has recognized her effort and hard work. It's a reminder to us that we shouldn't care what antis and trolls think bc it's not hurting her the slightest.

I am immensely proud of our girl. She has come such a long way—from starting as a side character, to becoming a female lead in second-tier productions, and now shining as the female lead in S+ productions. Her journey is nothing short of inspiring. On top of that, she was honored as an invited guest at the Golden Panda Awards, presenting on stage and seated in the very first row alongside a CCTV host and veteran actors and actresses—making history as the first actress born in the 1990s to achieve this recognition. Truly, her hard work and perseverance are paying off.

Ignore those commenters, they obviously come here to troll. I’ve seen a lot of these type of people on other celebrities’ pages. I am anticipating this drama very much with the famous and popular screenwriter and the budget is pretty high. They bought 40 acres of land to build the manor and then additional land for Other landscape

You also have to look at the temperament of the character. In the novel, lx is known for not loving luxuries like jewels and vibrant extravagant coloured scheme clothes. She likes simplicity, she was raised in a monastery. Also, you have to look at actual historic attires. Some dramas try to use actual historic culture and some period go for the pretty so it may not be accurate.

He can be a director in a few more years

Yes but that doesn’t automatically mean they are social or open minded. Especially given his parents. His dad seems very strict. His dad slapped him at age 4 bc he couldn’t do 2+2. I feel like he is heavily influenced by his family. I’m Canadian born and raised, and even though I’m open minded on certain ideologies and such doesn’t mean I’m open minded to do it myself

I’ve read somewhere that Arthur is usually introverted and this time he seems to be goofy and interactive with promotion with lulu. Could also be because lulu is of same age and she can be outgoing and joking Which helps loosen him up

My god. I did not expect the kissing scenes would get any better, but I’m absolutely wrong. I need this same director to make another drama for lulu and Arthur. That nose stroke, honestly I don’t think any other actors and actresses could do this well. They would be too shy, I’m surprised Arthur is this open minded with acting

A glimpse in the future of what their daily married lives will be when they travel to modern world. It's so cute

It's polar opposites, her drama might be hard to stomach since it has domestic violence, but I do want to support her and see her progression

That's 2fl for you. In general, their company must've sponsored or invested something so that their artists would have a fair share of roles as fl. It's like that for all 2fl. If need to, just skip them.

Please someone offer the a script for 2nd collab. They both agreed they would like another collab. I prefer another period drama, but I'm ok with modern too as long as there's abundance of romance!

I'm so sick of those morally righteous guys in dramas. Sima is attractive bc he knows he's the most powerful, so he can be arrogant about it with no precaution. Anyone offend or harm him and those he care he will eliminate the person and even the whole clan. To other characters in the drama, he may be the antagonist, but I like a guy with a little gray side. He's attentive and caring to ty, espeically after he lost her for 18 years, he's learned to be understanding, attentive, respectful, asking for consent and not taking advantage of her. Risking his health and life to make sure she's taken care of and safe. He's also so intelligent and plans 5 steps ahead. He may murder and kill, but I would feel safe with him knowing he would never domestically assualt his girl, he would only cherish her like a one of a kind pearl.
