I was impressed with the story itself, it reminded me of the long ballad, how it was very epic and detailed with good pacing. I liked the 'whodunnit' aspect of not knowing who really killed her. For a romance, it was shitty. But for a murder mystery it was good.

Great acting, great story, very well executed, but NOT A ROMANCE. The sexual chemistry between characters has been sanitized so much its like watching a Disney story. The kiss scenes were stupid and spiceless. Zero passionate energy, total 'old married couple' energy.... although they mske a funny and cute old married couple. The love-triangle becomes pretty tedious as it wears on. Other than that, i enjoyed it. I freakin LOVED the soundtrack/ost. It was well matched to the scenes it accompanied and was never overdone.

Lolll... right? One thing we can def agree on was that dumb haircut. :P

Its not that often i bump a score by that much just for one actor's performance. He was good.

Ive rewatched MFB twice, and whenever I see the scenes with the manager, I think about your comment and it makes me laugh to myself <3. I dont personally think hes as superhot, but i love that you do. If you havent already, you should put a comment on his mdl page. I bet he'd see it and would love knowing he has a fan out there like you <3.

Same.idk if its in my top 3, but its definitely in my top 5, and ive rewatched it twice and will rewatch again. After seeing this, i had SO much fun watching him in Legend of Shen Li he was hilarious and cuuuuuuuuute!!!

If you had kept to what you think of the drama, and not what you think of US who liked it, then i would have done likewise, and shown you respect despite the fact that i disagree with you. Just scroll down in comments and it proves it. When someone says "i hate this drama," im not up in their business. But youre not judging the drama. Youre judging people who liked the drama. Its like youve never seen a Thai slap-kiss before. There are "romances" with flat out rape in them. I dont watch them because that aint my cup of tea. But i also dont go into the comments section of those dramas and sermonize at their fans like some moral crusader. They can like what they like, its got nothing to do with me.

They did have sex. It was consentual. They ARE the otp here. The author wrote the story with xie wei in mind as endgame from the very outset. Everyone involved in making this drama knew that at the start. She loves him and thinks hes sexy. The author wrote her that way, and Bai Lu played her that way. If you cant see it, thats on you not everybody else.

it depends on your tastes. There is a minor contingent of people who get dissappointed that FL wont end up with 2ML.

Dude, i had to straight up mute the sound to make it through WIL because i thought the dubbing was soooo bad. I literally watched the whole thing while playing Type O Negative 'Love You To Death' on repeat. All in all I think it enhanced my viewing experience. :P

Your best bet is to scroll thru comments and decide for yourself if you think its your cup of tea or not.
