they are great in every genre, to be fair... their thrillers are spot on almost always
They are not definitely better than them.
I watch romance genre from these countries now and then & the men are men in dramas from these countries, not the unspecified gender pretending to be men in Kdrama romances.
You’re judging him like he’s supposed to think logically, but he’s literally a teenager who just watched…
Every teenage boy who loses his mother will have only one emotion.
a boys greatest love is his mom. Once he has children & if one of the children is a girl, then that girl will be his greatest love, greater than his mom.
wife & girlfriends don't even come close. Not in this day and age where men are aware of how flimsy relations and marriages have become across the world.
There is no scenario, no explanation, no theories that can explain why a boy immediately after his mom's brutal death would be jumping in joy, no matter the circumstance.
they are great in every genre, to be fair... their thrillers are spot on almost always
They are exceptional when they do weird dramas like this They are exceptional as well when do action, thrillers, scifi, horror. They are above average in doing historical or fantasy
Their romances are complete trash, even calling them trash is an insult to trash. That's how bad their romance dramas have become in last 5 years.
Nowadays there’s a lot of discourse about male leads being virgins but no one says anything when it’s the…
Most men on earth don't belong to the toxic category. but they are definitely men, where the desire for opposite sex is a constant and consistent thing from the moment they hit puberty to the moment to die.
There are no ifs and buts in that.
Whatever they are showing in Kdrama romance genre, they are definitely not men. Men don't behave that way, think that way or interact that way with girls. Some men do & they are all gay.
Nowadays there’s a lot of discourse about male leads being virgins but no one says anything when it’s the…
May be consistency where both ML and FL dated, not just the ML who is repeatedly shown as a virgin in most kdramas
May be variety, where you get different kinds of ML and FL, instead of a pure virgin ML in most Kdramas.
Worst thing about Kdrama romances in last 4-5 years is that I see ML and there is nothing 'man' about the ML. If you want to make a character that complete opposite of a man, then you get Kdrama romance ML's.
Guys, do me a favor and let me know when our yet another pure virgin ML loses his precious virginity. The boy is nearly 35 and never polished his pecker. That is the only interesting thing about this crapfest,
if you want to laugh until your stomach hurts this is it for you.... story and the powers are just there lol...don't…
Agree about Choi Dae Hoon, by middle it felt like he was the ML.
I was interested in his family life, how his wife and daughter treated him & the eventual arc where he gains their respect. He was a loser in the eyes of his family, who was aware of where he stood & I was rooting for him the whole drama.
There was something off about how FL was portrayed. No, there is no issue with the actress but the way FL was built. She felt out of place the whole drama. ML for some strange reason did not have the screen presence. He was on screen but was not present.
It was hard to buy the whole, 'the Korean govt is very stupid for not realizing people with superpowers were running around Korea for years'
The whole drama was carried on backs on the 2 male friends of the FL. Both of them were wonderfully characterized. They were hilarious, genuine, emotional and basically heart & soul of the drama.
You’re judging him like he’s supposed to think logically, but he’s literally a teenager who just watched…
That is never the emotion you show when you are saving your friends.
the drama was so good, a top-notch drama. but then the kdrama obsession to turn every ML into one who would go over the top for the FL kills some dramas. That might work in romance genre but romance should have been a sub-genre in this drama.
That particular scene where the ML is running laughing in elation, just few hours after his moms death feels very out of place.
You’re judging him like he’s supposed to think logically, but he’s literally a teenager who just watched…
I am not comparing this drama to train to busan. I am stating why Train to Busan left such a memorable impression is how the ML nails the role of a desperate father in that movie.
This one has a teenage boy. This is not an adult man who has found love outside of his mother, i'e, a sister, a wife or a daughter. For every teenage boy, his mother is his greatest love. There are no if's and buts.
There literally is no universe, no scenario, no apocalypse where a teenage boy would be running off jumping in joy just a few days after his mothers death.
There is this obsession in Kdrama where they want to make ML simping for the FL. The simping may make sense in romance genre but here it just felt very out of place.
You look at a boy who just lost his mother, jumping and running in joy to his death, cause he got a kiss from a girl is beyond stupid story telling.
I watch romance genre from these countries now and then & the men are men in dramas from these countries, not the unspecified gender pretending to be men in Kdrama romances.
and almost always experienced in shagging in FL.
Kdramas romances are by far the dumbest dramas ever produced on this earth.

Kdramas are at their best when they do weird ones like this.
Ending of Ep 4 is a hooter.

In fact, I would say the ML is very ancient virgin in that drama as well.
Thank you for your cooperation on this matter.
Guys, do me a favor and let me know when our yet another pure virgin ML loses his precious virginity.
The boy is nearly 35 and never polished his pecker.
That is the only interesting thing about this crapfest,
can you name the last Kdrama where the FL is a virgin and the ML was not?
Almost every Kdrama now a days has a pure virgin ML and a FL who shagged other men.
It's pathetic really. Imagine making dramas after dramas where the ML is always a pure virgin who never ever even had a crush on another woman,
I was interested in his family life, how his wife and daughter treated him & the eventual arc where he gains their respect.

For some of the character and continuity faults, the ML and 2ML carried the show.
There is a place to be sweet and simp for the FL.
but this was...yuck.
i can assure you, no one in the world would be running in joy after a kiss from a girl, just after their mothers death.
THAT is the last reaction anyone would have.
