FL abuses ML a lot. Imagine if the genders were reversed? I get that he's supposed to be immortal or whatever…
strong modern women = taking worst thing a man does, do those things themselves and patting themselves on the back saying 'i love strong women'. Let's not forget murdering few unborn babies as well. Nothing screams strong independent women than murdering unborn babies.
below average movie. few fights were done well. Characterization was lacking, especially for the ML. Typical Kdrama ML. Anyhow, I was rooting for the ML and his master to finish off the FL. That would have made the movie bit better.
There is nothing more pathetic and ugly than a grown capable man puckering him bum for a woman who does not care about him.
So, basically the plot is, FL needs money because of hospital bills. So, she will sell drug and kill thousands of people and destroy thousands of families.
The drama will somehow make the FL sympathetic since selling drugs is a 'victimless crime'.
I was low on this drama and high on Twelve. Boy am I surprised.
While this one shined, Twelve is a complete turd, even though it belongs to a genre I usually like. Goes to show how characters and storyline make or break a drama.
I was somehow reminded of Moving. I was thinking to myself why I liked the drama. The reasons were many but the primary reasons were the characters and story. The actors were brilliant in that drama but the characters and story shined a lot more than the actors themselves.
This was a very good drama. Glad the ML and FL did not have any romance, although you could see FL being a bit infatuated by ML. The drama rightly never dwells too much into it and leaves to viewers to interpret it in their own way. My interpretation was that the FL admired ML a lot.
The cases were thoughtful and some very painful and some of them were very insightful.
FL was really the star of this drama and the actress was very good. She not only has acting chops but has the looks to take her far.
ML was an excellent supporting cast to FL. He was the mentor she needed. The actor is seasoned and he played the role well.
Ep 12 was a great insight into western civilization.
The divorce case is a mirror to the fact that countries with western values are failing. The population crisis is just the end result, it;s not the cause. There are multiple causes and the divorce case in this episode is a small insight of the larger puzzle as to why countries with western values have irreversibly failed in civilizational objectives.
The judgement by the female judge was extremely nice for many reasons. I was fearing the drama would take even more modern view and justify the case but glad that they did not go that way.
What in the world is wrong with you?? ʕಠ_ಠʔ So palace harems and all those dramas with 1 ML…
It's not about the who is vying for whom. It's about the interactions.
Even in Palace harems, you never see ML having any sort of romantic interactions with other women. On other hand, there is not a single cdrama where FL does not have these kinds of interactions with multiple men.
What in the world is wrong with you?? ʕಠ_ಠʔ So palace harems and all those dramas with 1 ML…
Which Cdrama has a ML with a harem? Every Cdrama on the other hand has a harem for the FL, including this one. These dramas are basically soft porn for women. Worse is that even soft porn has better story, acting and nicer b00bs on FL's than these pathetic excuse for dramas.
We live in a society where women can have the same freedom as men to flirt with anyone they like as long as they're…
Every episode the ML looks at the FL and keeps reaffirming how incredible she is and bla bla bla. Every time he does that I keep imagining the ML prostrating at the feet of FL and licking them.
Another shit Cdrama. Fl + dozens of men, with full interactions, flirtations and everything in between.
ML on the hand is a pure virgin who avoids even eye contact with women.
Xu Kai has been a colossal disappointment in last few years. Each and every drama of his, he is a wimpy simp pure virgin, while the FL in his dramas are drowning in men.
Funny how a man abandons his child, he gets skewered & rightly so. but a woman murders her baby............that murder is justified as 'choice' and 'empowerment'.
Let's be honest, that ex wife is a monster and a murderer, a filthy subhuman much more vile and evil than the dad who beat and abused his daughter.
The ML's ex-wife is a trash and murderer. She should have received the same fate as the vile man who abused her…
murdering a child or abusing a child has a much level of disgust associated than the other things we see.
On your point, I agree, the ones in clinic shaming that women were the real monsters.
It's very refreshing to see a Kdrama that has a moderately positive spin on having children, how loving they are and how they fulfill lives of families.
Every Korean law drama devolves into "men bad, women good" sanctimonious crap. It's actually impressive…
The ML's ex-wife is a trash and murderer.
She should have received the same fate as the vile man who abused her little daughter. Alas, the ex-wife still gets to walk around with her head held high after murdering her own child.
Both industries have gone to shit, literally.
Anyhow, I was rooting for the ML and his master to finish off the FL. That would have made the movie bit better.

The main lead of this drama though are the cases.

even the casting was nice.
But this is just very poor execution. Everything about this drama is bad.
Worst part about it that it is also very boring.

You can choose to ignore if you are getting triggered
Monk or no monk, the ML in Cdramas are wimpy simpy cucks with no dignity or spine.
Every time he does that I keep imagining the ML prostrating at the feet of FL and licking them.
On other hand, there are dozens this year itself where the FL was shown enjoying herself with other men.
Fl + dozens of men, with full interactions, flirtations and everything in between.

Yuck.
really? She murdered your child and talked as if she was clipping her nails.
