Anna has turned into a selfish woman. 27 years back, it was all about her and even now it's all about her. Hope DD finds out what this horrible woman did to her and her dad & dumps the crap out of her for good.
By the time FL comes back from US, ML will probably become a grand dad. The man is no spring chicken.
Not really sure what US offers that Korea does not.
I keep seeing in Asian dramas an implied assumption that US or Europe is a heaven to make something for themselves.
South Korea is not a third world country. Taking everything into consideration, Korea would be a much better place to live than the current US.
For example, if the FL goes to Chicago, she can't get drunk and roam the streets at night like they show in Kdramas or Cdramas. A drunk girl roaming streets of Chicago at night will definitely end up dead & before that a lot of worse things would happen to her.
He did wrong there no doubt. There is no circumstance that can justify cheating in marriage. All the talk of greedy…
It's very easy to love. It literally is the easiest thing to do in the world. You simply need other person to accept your love and voila, you are in ecstasy called love.
Responsibility is a different beast altogether. It demands tremendous effort just to be responsible for another person(s).
Current culture where people just go through a lot of partners, hence they don't really understand the need to put in effort to maintain a relationship. When the next person is easily available for a relationship, what is the need to put in efforts in the current one? The casual attitude with relationships have really blinded us to the importance of responsibility.
YG with 3 children is a shining example of responsibility. It would not have been easy for a widowed person, grieving his wife to try and be there for his kids and look after the company. because YG is responsible in everything he does, you can see he is very responsible in love as well. For him DD is not some girl he is dating before moving on to the next girl. There is a sense of responsibility he feels about her, which reflects in how he hesitates before taking the plunge.
He did wrong there no doubt. There is no circumstance that can justify cheating in marriage. All the talk of greedy…
While I agree with all that, that's now taking responsibility.
Good news though is that the show is definitely going in that direction. Sooner or later Anna will come clean, there will be a storm and a reconciliation.
While the end is important, equally important is the journey. Journey can't be fast food, it needs to be a 5 course meal, the story sort of demands it since what Anna did can't be brushed away easily. Let's live in the moment and follow Anna's journey to earn her family back.
He did wrong there no doubt. There is no circumstance that can justify cheating in marriage. All the talk of greedy…
Not sure if we can clearly say Park knows who Anna is. If he did, I doubt romance would be the first thing on his mind after meeting the woman who caused misery to him.
Clearly Anna is a better person than YS. The comparison is a non-starter at this point. Point though is for Park and DD who is person who caused them most pain.
The redemption ark for Anna has not begun yet. Not sure how it can even begin when she is lying & scared. It only shows she has not accepted the horrible thing she has done to them. Sleeping with park is an underhanded way to getting around the problem she caused. Her redemption will start the moment she comes clean.
I keep using the word 'responsibility' because that's what the show is driving at. Even now Anna is not taking responsibility for what she did in the past. She needs to start at that first rather than seducing the man.
He did wrong there no doubt. There is no circumstance that can justify cheating in marriage. All the talk of greedy…
Have no idea about how the story would go.
At this moment in the drama, Anna is a poor choice for Park. The amount of bad blood there will lead them to their disaster,
Anna needs tremendous growth, first in accepting what she had done to that man and his daughter and then in redeeming herself before she can even begin to think of the two as her family.
Park needs to get away from both the women and stay alone for a bit. It's easy to see why he was tempted and the disaster waiting him if it continues.
It's a bit far-fetched to assume Park would react positively if he know who Anna is. Considering how the drama shows the struggles he faced in initial episodes, does it make sense he would be ok to be with Anna without the redemption ark for Anna?
He did wrong there no doubt. There is no circumstance that can justify cheating in marriage. All the talk of greedy…
Not giving the man a pass,
Please read what I posted. completely blamed the man. No matter the circumstance, no matter the temptation - cheating is a no and my post above clearly mentions that and blames Park for cheating on his wife.
YS being a bad wife and person does not make Anna a good choice. That's my point here. Park needs to divorce his wife, Anna needs to come clean before she starts seducing Park and so on.
The talk of 27 years is really really important. Life, unfortunately is not all above love. Responsibility assumed equal and at times a greater importance than love. Anna had love for Park but she shirked her responsibility and dumped them. YS and Park may not love each other but for 27 years they were responsible for each other.
The whole argument of 'oh they love each other' reeks selfishness and frankly cynical at this point. Anna is a living proof of how responsibility triumphs love. Love without responsibility has no meaning. Anna made a choice to trample her love, forego her responsibility and left them to live her own life.
Now she waltz in and it's like, yeah, they love each other. So, they should be together. YS is a bad person, Anna is a good person, so Anna should be with Park. Do these arguments even make sense? What about responsibility?
With Anna, how can one be sure she would not dump them a second time and looks out for herself?
Park cheating was a big no. Life is difficult, marriage is difficult. No one should enable cheaters by saying the wife is a bad person and deserves to be cheated on. That's what makes Anna such a unlikable person. She clearly knows whats going on and just took advantage and manipulated people who trusts her.
Ep 28, So in other dramas it's cheating if a husband sleep with another woman and fall to her but here is like…
He did wrong there no doubt.
There is no circumstance that can justify cheating in marriage. All the talk of greedy wife and blah blah blah does not cut it, Cheating reflects on character of the cheater. There are other ways to get out of a relationship not working and maintain dignity.
Sorry but cheaters finding reasons to justify their shit does not cut it.
People comparing Anna being option to YS need to introspection of the horror Anna put the father and daughter in. YS is greedy and uncouth but a person who is with you for 27 years is always better than the person who dumped you with a new born. The comparison is laughable. Anna is clearly a better person but for DD and her dad, she is the worst person in the world bar none.
Anna clearly took advantage of a man who was having issues with his wife, Even now she did not come clean and seduced him. She is not even repenting at this point but thinks she is some how entitled to get her man and daughter by default after having abandoned them.
At this point there is nothing Anna is doing that reminds us she is being honest to anyone.
dear lord, the FL is so dumb that it actually hurts seeing it. Really can't understand what kind of drugs the writer and director were on when they wrote the FL. Even 10 year old girls are smarter and have greater understanding of things than the FL.
She probably is the dumbest FL in Cdramas I have seen.
At Mooc: Sorry, he's not a CEO of the company...where the heck did you get the info?!? His dad owns the company…
I watched the first couple of episodes and formed my opinion.
He is not the CEO but son of the chairman or something similar. The premise is that he is a rich and well off guy.
It's the same pattern. FL gets dumped/cheated and the ML has the front row seat to spectate it. Care to guess how many Cdramas have this pattern? Almost 50% of romance Cdramas.
Would probably watch it once it's complete and if it has something different to offer. The comedy seems pretty good for the first 2 episodes though.
Except for minor character inconsistencies, this one was a decent romance/thriller/suspense drama.
the actor who plays the SML/Villian easily steals the show from start to finish. He was loathsome to watch and the actor nailed it.
ML carried the show for the good guys with 3 women who miraculously become stupid at critical times to sabotage ML efforts. FL minor inconsistency in not believing the ML was not appealing. They had gone through life and death situations and FL professed her love and trust in ML. Later she doubts him, which is definitely not consistent with the growth she had for 20+ episodes.
Apart from these minor inconsistencies, the show was solid on what it promised.
I think the most annoying is the chairman and DD's love saga, everyone else's is still tolerable. DD is too young…
Who want's to see boring love story in a drama?
We want our leads to go through hoops and earn their love. That makes for great drama. Viewers may hate the writers for this trope but this actually sells.
Looks like it's DD turn to fight for what's hers & that actually sells in a drama.
I'm struggling to get through the second episode, too. Wish they made the FL stronger/smarter..
Her father is in coma, Their business is going under, her house is gone.
Her priority at this point as one would expect would be to get her life and business in order BUT this girl is gets drunk out of her mind and cries about her love for SML. She could have cried about her dad in hospital or about her company going under. That's how you know the drama is crap and the FL is dumb and stupid.
She was going into life or death surgery with no one there. Mr Park was there. She fell hard for him then
trying to die like that was a poor choice.
The show does show the pathetic and unsolvable situation the single dad was in to justify his drastic action. Was SC depressed? It seems to hint at that during the initial episodes.
YS and SC has been there for each other. Suspect most of SC's support for YS comes from the fact she was there for him and not because he loves her dearly. It could very well also be loyalty for what YS has done.
Anna needs her redemption arc and it would make for great drama.
She was going into life or death surgery with no one there. Mr Park was there. She fell hard for him then
Anna leaving was bad?!!
It was not bad. It was devastating. Bad is what's happening to Anna now where she needs to get treatment.
What Anna did is something that can only be explained by saying that 'a guy who dumps his wife and new born daughter as something he did bad' & then justify by saying he was a nice guy who just wanted to do his own thing and so dumped his wife and new born daughter.
Sorry but I am not buying in the whole Anna is good. She may be good as a person to a whole set of people BUT for park and DanDan, she did something so devastating that they will have carry the heart break through out their lives. For her own selfish reasons she destroyed two people.
Responsibility is not a switch where you can off or on it based on ones circumstances. Anna switched off her responsibilities for 27 years.
She knows the whole story and still decides to go after the man.
Park is a cheater,
Anna is a different kind of monster at this point.
YS is dumb, stupid and uncouth.
Amongst the three, after the last couple of episodes, I find Anna utterly revolting.
YG and DD can decide which one gets which.
Anna has turned into a selfish woman. 27 years back, it was all about her and even now it's all about her. Hope DD finds out what this horrible woman did to her and her dad & dumps the crap out of her for good.

my brain can not even begin to comprehend that sentence.
Looks like a great excuse when someone gets caught cheating though.
Good news though is that the show is definitely going in that direction.
Sooner or later Anna will come clean, there will be a storm and a reconciliation.

FL is a cheater. She had a BoyFriend and was having an affair with ML.
FL friend is a skank.
ML is a border line cheater.
The only guy who does not cheat is the FL's first BF.
BUT
