Anyhow, slowly it looks like romance genre Cdramas and Kdramas are going into my 'not my taste' section as well.

Issue is not with the FL, like you said, it;s normal for 18 year olds to have attraction to opposite sex.
The issue is, what you are saying about love and attraction at 18 years never applies to ML in cdramas.

regarding the chain, there is no universe where a 18 year old girl would give a chain to a boy because he helped her. There is no scenario where a chain is just a present and not symbolic of romance. If it was a present, she would not have asked for it back.
She does not have a boyfriend because they broke off.

Again, there is simply no issue with the FL, she is a normal 18 year old with crushes and attractions.
The fake is the ML, who is shown to basically treat all women except FL as disease. You would never see a Cdrama ML showing attraction of crush towards a woman that's not FL.

The concept of true love, only love and happy marriage, unfortunately are a thing of the past.
The idea that one needs to protect themselves and their finances when entering marriage is very real.

It's funny how the more govts intervened in marriages using laws as means, the more it caused marriages to break up. The lesser people's trust in marriage became.

People should be able to do what ever they want to improve themselves.

1. People are beautiful as they are and we must appreciate the diversity of people's looks from different parts of the world.

2. You can't be offended by a Kdrama fat shaming a character when the actors in those dramas themselves have gone under the knife to improve their looks - that's hypocrisy.

I am only saying if you are being offended by fat shaming, then you should not watch dramas from an industry that basically has all their main cast who have gone under a knife to change their face.

Most people can reduce weight if they control their diet, exercise a little and take care of their mental and physical health.
No one can change their face or height.

but this industry only picks people who have changed their faces to act in their dramas, that should offend more than what this drama actually shows.

The concept that people are beautiful as they are should not be lost on us.
but this industry basically spits on that concept and yet we are ok with it & that's the duplicity we are talking about.

regarding body shaming, well, you are watching dramas where the majority of actors and actresses have had operations done on them.

That's basically the countries culture.

If body shaming triggers you, then you should completely stop watching dramas from an industry whose main leads have all gone under the knife.
