"Amisdt a snowstorm of love" (2024), "Nothing but you" (2023), "Love like the Galaxy"…
Yes, I've watched them. Then he made a number of films that I was not able to access. I see he has a new drama in the works called 'The One' which could be coming out soon. He is right up there with my favorite actors.
Does anyone still think putting spoiler alerts on their posts is important to keep details from those who have…
You sound really put upon. Just how hard is it to click on the spoiler button if you are discussing an episode in minor details? People come to dramas at different times and can't always watch only the most recent episode. Others come to ask if the drama is what they might be looking for, but they don't want all the details beforehand. There is no reason not to be polite to one another given we all like these stories.
I'm loving it. A heroine full of gumption. A slightly befuddled Crown Prince. An evil spawn of an evil Minister. A besotted second lead who is rightous. A helpless King. What could go wrong?
Ep. 26 I'm sick of Yun's sister-in-law. First she gets him beaten to a pulp and now she tells him to leave town and forget about Yu, even try a new relationship to see if he really loves her. Just got to the end. That was nasty behaviour from Yun after all while Gu was smug he was also falling down drunk.
Ep. 24 and 25 play out the opposition to the two lovers relationship. With the consequences of 99 lashes which I don't understand is carried out by his loyal sidekick at the instruction of one of the widows of the Wei household. How is that even feasible? There is a gossip mongers' plot happening to ruin Yu's reputation. Some family remain on her side. Gu keeps goading Yun about taking her back. What a fool.
Left at episode 13 because of FL acting deficit. Was sorry because I especially like the Wei Yun character and many of the supporting actors' work. Restarted because a reviewer I respect said it was worthwhile. I'm on ep 24 and am having trouble dealing with the idiocy of one of the widow's insistence that Wei Yun be punished for falling in love with Chu Yu. They've got one man left in the family and now they want him to get beaten to death for 'respectability' sake. What a load of BS.
There are so many great dramas here. It's difficult to rank them as some kind of run into the other after so much time. Please keep making more dramas of this calibre.
Just finished episode 1. Since I saw it last in 2021, I had forgotten how old these actors were when they were playing such 'young' characters. Pretty good job everybody. So much intrigue to come.
I want to watch this very badly but I'm afraid of all the pain and agony.
I like so many of Ji Chang Wook's dramas that I have become quite fond of him and hate when I see him experience trauma. I know this is the screenwriters' doing but that doesn't help much as I'm also aware how fraught the whole entertainment/star business is.
I've been thinking the same for the past few days mainly because I was watching Legend of Heroes and was reminded…
Yes, you can never get enough of a good thing. I miss dramas like Story of Yanxi Palace and Story of Minglan. There's still the odd good one, but why leave off at a maximum of 40 episodes when there is more of story to be told?
Rewatching this because it’s such a timeless Masterpiece
I've been thinking the same for the past few days mainly because I was watching Legend of Heroes and was reminded of just what an impact Zhou Yi Wei had on me. Many of the historical Cdramas playing right now are lacking. Sixty-eight episodes, here I come.
Hello....just binged these 2 episodes. CP is looking good. Love the FL. Ok, this going to be an adventure. Feeling…
Agreed. Love the FL and the Crown Prince is in a complicated situation. The second leads will add more layers. All the sidekicks have their own charm. Can't wait for the next episodes. Why does it always take so long?
Just got to the end. That was nasty behaviour from Yun after all while Gu was smug he was also falling down drunk.
