Kung fu galore, set to music in the rain showers. Ruyi takes on all challengers. Ning commiserates with her great loss. A long hug, a chaste kiss on the forehead will have to do between them for now.
Only on ep 31 but it was a heartbreaker. In this case someone really should do away with such a mother-in-law. I hope Yingzi's fortunes improve before the end. This drama certainly has been under everyone's radar it seems.
The lady Jin with her kiss curl is formidable. Good fun episode as they get closer to An. Ning is making head way with his potential babymaker but the kiss he planted on her was pretty subdued. The camera tracking everywhere except where it should focus, namely the lips.
Only up to ep 12 but things are warming up. My one complaint (and it's not just this drama) is how impossible it is to read the subtitles when there is a song and its lyrics under the picture. I appreciate the music and what it says but they should put it above or on the side of the picture as I'm missing so much of the dialogue.
Wall to wall Wuxia. Half of episode is fending of a much larger military force. Great planning goes into this battle by the heroes. They have each others' back. But, there are casualties and consequences to face. He's starting to get possessive just as she lets him know there are plenty of fish in the sea.
Good drama to follow The Story of Kunning Palace. I'm rooting for ML as I've liked him in other dramas. He's a little reluctant in the romance department for now but hopefully will man-up soon. He has pretty big shoes to fill if he wants to rival the lip action of Zhang Linghe in TSOKP.
Boss Ning is bitten and seems to be smitten. The 'prince' is having an existential crisis. The honey water is not what it's made out to be and the muscle-softening potion isn't helpful when the beauty comes in close with her demands.
I'm not ususally crazy about these 'back to the future' kind of dramas (except for Mr. Queen) but so far I'm enjoying this actress very much. She isn't having much luck with her husband material. The first one is a corpse and this second one is just as stiff. Sadly these Kdramas take so long between releasing episodes that it gets boring to wait.
She agreed to hook up with him finally after much 'will she, won't she' that added to his insecurities. I'm imagining her counting all the scars on his fine frame on the wedding night. Likely those luscious lips will make her count her blessings.
I'm at the end of episode 6, and I find it quite long too start. Does it get better ?
It's one of the better dramas recently released. While the set-up of what took place in the previous life and how that can be affected now is a bit confusing, just roll with the punches as it's worth it.
The curtain drops. For giving us that wedding scene I'll even forgive them for throwing in that dumb 'this was all a novel in her head' bit at the end of ep 38. This was a good drama with lots of action, intrigue where the power hungry people paid a price for the harm they caused. Emotions ran high and family connections were complicated. The main leads were excellent as were the supporting cast. Did they princess hook up with Yan Lin or Zhang Zhe? That would be nice.
For me, it’s the God of War/ML (Juichen) in Love & Destiny.
He has quite the CV, I don't know who could compete with that? I might mention Hu Ge, specifically in Nirvana in Fire and hopefully the upcoming Blossoms Shanghai by Wong Kar Wai.
I am making IDGAF heart throbs worth swooning over list :* Xie Wei - Story of Kunning Palace* Ling Bu Yi - Love…
Agree with your selections. The only one I haven't seen is The Blood of Youth. Here are others I would add. Xiao Qi - Rebel Princess Mo Huan/Ye Hua - Eternal Love Gu Xian Fan - A Dream of Splendor Lee Jang Hyun - My Dearest
