Can someone tell me how Mei Lin died?

I'm dropping it after episode 24 too. I was already losing interest, but finding out the ending has completely killed my interest. It's one of the biggest letdowns this year.

Honestly this was one of my least anticipated dramas this year, but surprisingly it has become one of my favorites.

I'm gonna miss them 😭 What a beautiful drama 😭❤️

The new trailer is FIRE. I'm trying to keep my expectations low because I don't want to be disappointed, but it's hard when everything looks so good.

Gosh, they're so cute. I love their transition from "siblings" to lovers. It feels so natural and suits their characters. I love how their relationship changed, but at the same time, it hasn't changed. There are still 7 episodes left, and I know I will miss them.

And he did all of this while his son was fighting for his life. He didn't even thank him, lol.

The two dramas are quite different and belong to different genres, so it really depends on your taste. Personally, I think The Rise of Ning is better, but that doesn’t mean you’ll feel the same. I recommend watching both and deciding for yourself!

Lol the writing is a mess. Luo Mei has known the Crown Prince her whole life, and she never loved him. Now, all of a sudden, she is so in love with him and has totally forgotten Jinghe, even though she loved him since childhood. I'm not even sure what she loves about him; he is a crazy psychopath who wanted to kill his brother and father and killed so many innocent people to get what he wants. Just like with Jinghe, I feel that her character is completely different from how she was at the beginning of the drama.
