I like the acting. But the plot feels is absolutely ridiculous.
So she is in a contractual relationship. She signed the papers. Yet, she is apparently fine with ML declaring to seduce her? She even challenges him to try, according to the preview. Wouldn't the contract have fidelity clauses? Does she simply not give a damn?
If she was serous, she'd block the ML and maybe even file a restraining order if he continues his advances. But then it wouldn't be a funny rom-com I guess.
I'll admit, I'm not a huge racing fan and was ready to drop this after 15 minutes. But halfway through this series…
Not a huge fan of racing either. But a van beating a Ferrari doesn't make any sense, no matter how much better the driver is. This is really silly writing.
Also IRL drifting doesn't make you go faster on a track (on loose ground it's pretty much unavoidable though).
That's actually a really good question! I also can't help but wonder if their recovery is taking any longer due…
Depends on the specific meds. Some have dangerous side effects with alcohol. Others make you get wasted faster. And yeah, alcohol consumption worsens a depression in general.
On the other side someone commented, that doctors are prone to depression and alcohol/med abuse. So... whatever.
At least they could have shown the negative side effects. Although they might have an alcoholic beverages maker as sponsor? Would be a weird choice for a drama about depression, but possible I guess.
Is drinking alocohol while on anti - depressants so bad ? I have been in periods without having alcohol and having…
I've looked it up (thanks to this drama).
More modern antidepressants SSRI/SNRI don't interact with alcohol. What happens a is that drowsiness, dizzies, nausea side effects are enhanced.
But there are also antidepressants that are dangerous with alcohol: tricyclic antidepressants, MAOIs, Bupropion. They can cause spikes in heart rate and blood pressure, increase the risk of seizures.
Besides that, alcohol itself is a depressant. So drinking alcohol when depressed is exactly the wrong thing to do, independent of any medication.
I've watched the first three episodes of both. And I find Killer Paradox much better so far. It pulled me right in, while I have been struggling with suspension of disbelief in Shop for Killers.
The MLs in kdramas are usually simp, giving women everywhere unrealistic expectations of men. No man will wait…
I am also occasionally annoyed by unrealistic or implausible behavior in dramas.
On the other side, dramas are not documentaries. There is no requirement for them to be realistic. And after all, romance novels with utterly unrealistic men and women have existed for hundreds of years. So it is not a new thing, neither does it affect the wast majority of women in some negative way.
And if fan girls want date Korean men and be eventually disappointed by the reality, so let them be. Live and let live.
actually only her got mad, and started to ignore him since the beginning, he was trying to mend things and talk…
LMAO. He put his career and his friends first and took her for granted. She was a roommate who pays the bills, cleans, and one you can have sex with. So who is the big red flag again?
We are in the middle of the drama, and no interesting thing have happened so far. The main couple is being used…
I agree . The side couples are a waste of screen time, have fast-forwarded through episode 5. I hope they refocus on the main couple as my interest is waning.
Episode 1 was spectacular in setting up the plot.ML looks and fits the Korean Batman part to a T.but Kdrama's…
Cops being thugs with a badge is a typical kdrama trope. Alternatively they are also depicted as being bumbling idiots or utterly corrupted. Thinking about it, I can't remember watching a kdrama with competent cops.

Now it'll be funny, but nonsensical.

This drama in a nutshell. LOL

Besides that, the drama's title is "Queen of Divorce". Of course it will be focused on the FL. I am not sure why you would expect otherwise.
And there are plenty balanced or ML focused dramas still. Flex X Cop, A Killer Paradox, Death's Game, Dr. Slump, LTNS to name some recent ones.
Dear writers please consult a doctor or just google it FFS.

Have there been any recent mainstream dramas with good gays?
Just showing them doing drugs (or other questionable things) frames them as humans who do drugs.
And why would she give it to anyone? It's like giving away you consent. I wouldn't give that thing to anyone, including people closest to me.
And why the hell did she marry this ahole and even had a child with him. Blinded by love or the restaurant he bought for her mother?
Yeah, I know... it happened for drama reasons, sigh.
But in the end she is perfectly fine with her assistants and friends securing new evidence and exposing her accuser...
Well, I guess the writer is at least consistent in the portrayal of Sam Dal as someone who lets others fight her battles for her.
