Loved Chia-yen in Someday or One Day. But couldn't get into this one at all. She is way too timid/muted here. At least that is how it felt to me. Dropped after 3 episodes.
They are 1 hr 10 mins each, 14 episodes, stuff like that makes me hesitate because i get let down a lot with pointless…
It's a cute, fluffy show. The couple episodes I've watched didn't feel draggy. But it doesn't grip you either. So I am waiting until it has finished airing.
So he sees when living things have 100 days left. Why is he keeping Umi from doing possibly dangerous things on day 99? What am I missing? Is it a translation issue?
Okay, Mok Ha's reactions to anything about Ki Ho feel way over the top. It seems almost obsessive to me. Yes, they went through some shit together. But it was a long time ago. And it's not like they've been BFFs or childhood sweethearts. The girl needs some counseling or something.
Not sure how i feel about the other bad guy. It takes away from the special "connection" between ML an FL. Also the historical parts are meh. Although I might just be oversaturated by the whole past lives thing.
the first episode (although I am only halfway through it) is fantastic the comical elements and the smartness…
He is a lord and she is a peasant. So he is clearly in a dominant position. But I guess, his horniness... err, I mean his feelings for her will make him compromise. Or he finds out (spoiler). But even then I am not sure if it would reduce their power imbalance.
There are dozens Korean and probably a hundred Chinese dramas with the cold rich man and warm poor woman theme. So how new and refreshing can it really be?
Okay. I am really annoyed by the illegal loan shark thing in kdramas, the threatening and assaulting of the debtor's relatives in particular to have them pay the debt.
Why is the FL not reporting it to the cops? Is South Korean police really that incapable?
Yes, it is fantasy. But the display of super powers so far feels Asterix and Obelix level of cartoonish. You have people being sent flying through the air and somehow not dying?
I like Park Gyu Young. But the plot feels very basic and predictable.
The FL is forced to go out with the ML due to circumstances caused by herself. There are of course some misunderstandings between them and (spoiler) to make things more challenging. But she will most certainly fall in love with him over time. Meh.
And... seeing Park Jin Joo was a really nice surprise. I don't know, something about her captivates me. I really wish she would get a main role.
If pain's what you want in a man
Pain he can do
I hope FL can put him out of his misery
Even if I won't be around to witness it
It's a bit too deep for me ;)

I also have the feeling that she is the reason for the time travel. It is not about Eun Gyeol's parents. It's about saving her.
A more mature Eungyeol would probably have been more careful. But then we would miss out on the comedy.
I don't understand people dissing actors for the characters they play.
