what the point if you can see how good Xukai acting is. even in current ep his face shudder on sight of killing bird, it's extremely hard to act face reflexes

now when I think about why Chang city is so alluring I would like to watch many seasons around demon market, I think it's one of the best scenery created in drama. Like sure there was many historic ones with more impressive shots, but it was usually one street arrange. Here we have significant places, in relative same space, Wu palace, mei home, shops, division hq they always walk similar distances. Space and people affairs in it make it living space. I think such attention to scenery detail is rare

he wasn't weak, he progress faster than anyone, he just constantly was up against stronger enemies. he was only weak against women lol

yeah boss fights was awesome, but there is not much games beyond sword and fairy series including xianxia.

I wonder if any other drama delve into nescent soul stage cultivation. They seem good-like, transcendent, beyond mortal affairs, but as little showed here still feel emotions, being arogant or fearful. 🤔

refreshing for c-drama supernatural (apart of historical wuxia and fantasy xianxia), good tempo, awesome acting, well explained lore and mystery so far for me 9/10 don't look up on low score

I'm on free release stage (ep23) and I see no romance here at all, some girls have crush on him, but he dismiss all emotions so idk just ignore romance tag and focus in n cultivation

just watched it and I'm amazed how versital and complex scenario was, feels like drama from that time have more to offer, was more experimental, when now high budget drama looks like take no risks and scenario must be accepted by 5 different management:p all becoming sameish

less bitter than marry my husband? don't have comedy tag, but MMH is too dark and ridiculous for me 🤣
