shaman lore was awesome in this one, also best colour/light I ever seen in drama. Main downside was too much yeom hwa, lack of response on her actinon from everyone was annoying and spoiling fun of watching, they could focus more on romance. Anyway great show👍

quite enjoyable at start but instead getting better, get worse in second half, unnessesary 3 sad tropes in end, main couple getting nowhere after exposition, like they have no ideas for interactions and must add fillers, quite disappointing

damn ep 5 is like tutorial into cultivation ^^ wish more xianxia do it, or at least be some tag on mydrama to start watching xianxia with that ones which explains how cultivation works

I get why they don't want kill yeom hwa - to not bring bad karma to them, and considering she getting weak by her karma can leave her alone but why they allow her to cast spells? should at least chain her in dungeon or something 🤣 like they know she make vessel of ML will kill him eventually and evil spirit killer around 100people which of good part Yeom must bring him to old house to kill. Like why they have any mercy for her🤷‍♂️

people call it realistic but being in jail for 8y for clear self defence is immersion breaker. there are many werid scenario setups, feel more like Grimm fairytale than realism

wonder if personal life get into her head, in love scenery she was amazing, now watching at your service (2023) and she is so artificial like she forgot how to act :/

colour grading is amazing so chill and warm, good light but no flares. Remind me of Ghibli movies, make you want to observe surrounding, every corner in search of yokai 😆
