they are giving hints of Chang Yang being a creep? a fan? like watching all his movies and possibly arranging…
Nah, Changyang is cunning in the sense that he suggested that Qingtian should bring his brother along to Molie. But he'd never arrange sasaeng on Qinglang to make sure his plans worked. Qingtian is just upset that his friend seemingly innocent suggestion wasn't so innocent and he didn't expect his brother to fall in love within such a short time.
Ohhhh I connected some dots. So Changyang said to live 118 years old line in ep 5 so he must have known and loved…
Changyang wasn't involved with Qinglang and his brother investor relationship. Qingtian knew Xu Wenshu first and when Qinglang needed investment for his drama, Qingtian introduced the two of them.
How is everyone holding up after today's episode? cause I need to rewatch the first four episodes for emotional support. Also, this ep cleared up things more about the 2nd cp. They're kinda mirroring Shi Yuhao and Qinglang from seven years ago, hopefully their ending will be different. But since the drama they're filming is a remake of Qinglang's hit debut, i see some parallels. The knife spinning scene almost made me dizzy. I was trying to figure out its symbolism so bad so when that ending scene came on, it finally hits. The contrast between Qinglang smiling happily when eloping to him crying on their way back is so vivid. Gosh, I hope Sister Lan and Guo survives cause the guilt Qinglang already feels... I wonder what Shi Yuhao showed her on that call to have caused her to get so distracted. It must have been something huge that could hurt Qinglang. I can't believe I have to wait a full week for episode 6.
This was a really good read. I just wanted to clarify that Qinglang asked " Do you like men" in that scene not " I like men". Gagaoolala translation or Youtube subs probably messed it up but it was a question.
The synopsis is far from what the drama is really all about. This drama was my best watch in May. I yelled at my screen a couple of times and cried hard in the middle of the night but I loved every bit of it. The writers are really bold for stacking unlikable characters up while making them feel so human even if you can't relate with them. The character development and the deep dive into relationships and the world of publishing was very intriguing.
Some of the extra scenes are uploaded to the official YouTube channel.
so far, there's episode zero and episodes 1-4 in one playlist on their Youtube. Episode zero is basically a prologue. Then there's another playlist for what they call "small theatre", it's usually a scene that feels like an extra clip but adds more context to the plot. 2 small theatre videos have been released. One is for when Changyang helps Qinglang with his pajamas. The second one showed what happened in the tent in ep 4.
I don’t think it’s the brother. I think it’s the female assistant who is always hanging around the two girl…
about the hand sign, I think it's one of those girls who were assisting the tea villagers. Right before Qinglang picked Changyang's call, they showed that one of the girls were nearby.
Contrary to the comments saying episode 1 felt confusing, I personally think it was well-done. I normally start…
the makeout scenes in the end credits are from future episodes. It's part of the small theatre/ extra videos they'll post for each normal episodes. If you check well, you'll see that it's numbered.
