They have given me reason to become a ghost upon my death and they did it on purpose?!? And here's me who kept hoping they would somehow get a second season by some strange miracle 😭

I genuinely don't understand what you're saying (what exactly does cfans and i fans mean?) but I do get the sarcasm. Saying you don't like a show isn't "creating drama", it is simply expressing an opinion. If you can't handle differing opinions from yours, don't go into comment sections. It certainly doesn't take someone not liking a show I like to ruin the whole thing for me. You're an individual, you don't have to care about other people's experience of media you love to enjoy what you enjoy and I don't have to pretend I enjoy something I hate just for the benefit of a stranger who can't take differing experiences.

Dropped this the first time 'cause it was boring me to sleep but then I had nothing else to watch and decided to give it another try after seeing some reels about the secondary couple and thinking I might have been too harsh. Nope, it's even worse than I remembered. I should have trusted my first instinct.

There are no words for how excited I am for this, I've been wanting Pond in a main role again since 180dlptu and when I found out Fourever You was directed by New Siwaj, my heart shattered in a million pieces (no offense to whoever likes the show, I just really really don't vibe with that director's work). This also looks gritty which makes it even better! LET'S GOOOOOOO

P'Nuchy having a comeback with an OffGun show is everything I could have ever wanted!!!!!!! Not Me is my absolute favourite BL and she is a god among mortals

I feel like because their other projects always had simpler plots, their amazing acting and chemistry was able to elevate those shows much higher even if the shows themselves weren't that groundbreaking. But with this one there was just too much stuff on the fire at the same time and the romance and dynamic ended up sidelined (which is normal when you have such a prominent and complex premise) and so it wasn't enough to salvage the messy and clumsy final execution. Honestly, in the end I just feel bad for them too because they said in several interviews that this was a passion project for them and they contributed to production from their own pocket and it ended up just... disappointing.

Thank you for saying this!!! I've seen nothing but praise and while I am a huge YinWar fan, I was even more disappointed exactly because of that. They deserved a better-thought out show 'cause this one ended being just so tone-deaf and superficially developed. It has sucked all the excitement I'd been feeling for several months since the announcement out of me, I'm actually sad 😢

man, I really envy everyone who's been loving this show 'cause I'm very much not and this disappointment stings especially bad after waiting for the YinWar return for so long 😢

I know we're all hopeful for a second season and rightly so because there's still a lot of Tian and Wang's story to tell BUT if we should ever not get it (or even just if you're curious to know how it goes), I highly recommend checking out the novel. It's really quite long but, as someone who's almost finished reading it, I cannot recommend it enough!! It's truly quite precious and extremely well-written, so do give it a try and some love. If anything, it might even heighten the fervor with which everyone desires for season two!

Not Me and Cherry Magic (the Thai version) are both all time favourites for me. I especially liked the HeartLiMing storyline in Moonlight Chicken though the whole show is really good, and GemFourth are very good in My School President too, which is on the lighter side but very genuine and well-acted considering they were total beginners in it. Ready, Set, Love is technically not a BL aside from a minor storyline but it's an excellent show so I would still recommend it. I Told Sunset About You is very artsy and just amazing imo but heads up for the cheating storyline in season 2 (I think it fit and makes sense but I know a lot of people don't fw it, anyway season 1 is complete in an of itself if you'd rather avoid that). He's Coming To Me and Something in My Room are both heartfelt ghost stories that end up on very different paths and are both extremely underrated. Love Mechanics (watch the director's cut if you can) has a bit of a shaky premise but the acting and the chemistry are just undeniably delicious and it works extremely well for me. Knock Knock Boys is on the more recent side and definitely went way beyond my expectations, little hidden gem. 3 Will Be Free is a very different sort of show, only barely fitting into the BL category if you stretch it a little but still relevant. Rak Diao is my "hear me out" show in that it requires a little trust to get through it because it has a very different format but it ended up extremely good in the end after you get used to it, aaaaand.... I'm gonna end it here for now 😂 Please feel free to ignore this completely insane reclist but if you end up watching any of them I would love to hear your thoughts :D

It's my bad for not picking up on the hyperbole, no worries, and in all honesty, I can't say this show in particular hasn't been testing me too, so I get the sentiment! Well, I'd love to recommend some fun and good Thai BLs but I'm not sure what you might have already seen and/or what vibe you're looking for...

This is immensely hilarious and creative, kudos to you my friend! Still, quite sad you've decided to give up on Thai BL in its entirety but I understand your reasons (especially after you've explained them so intelligently and in depth) and will keep wishing you'll give it another try one day in the future, there's some hidden gems out there even in 2024 😂❤️
