It’s honestly wild to me how some viewers are harsher on a woman being “arrogant” than on a literal serial killer.The FL is doing her job as a prosecutor she’s supposed to be cold, strict, and morally rigid. That’s the character. Not every female lead has to be soft or likable 24/7. Calling her “insufferable” or saying she makes you root for the killer feels less like acting criticism and more like discomfort with a woman who isn’t warm or accommodating.Meanwhile, people are empathizing with a murderer because he’s “interesting” or charismatic. The double standard is kind of crazy.
u don’t have to like her personality, but blaming the actress or saying she ruins the drama just because the character isn’t sweet feels unfair. If anything, she’s playing the role exactly as intended.
Sometimes a character is meant to challenge u, not charm u.
