Exactly what I thought! FR! I am in Ep3 and they seem to like being humiliated and 1uped...5 th prince like his cold consort, 9th prince likes the woman who almost left him to die, 7th prince likes the one who takes advantage of him

I knew the princess was bad news when she was perfunctory about her brother's health and injury and went on a ranting how her palace life was restricting the freedom she craves

I personally don't prefer cultivation dramas or that involve magic and stuff.
My top Chinese dramas would be:
- Nirvana in Fire
- The Double
- Glory
- Blossom
- Pursuit of Jade
- Destined
- Are you the one

She is pretty, cute and funny. Her dramas are enjoyable especially the historical costume ones

Letting Xiao Xun escape multiple times is laughable...This would have been perfect if Chu Zhao predicted and set traps for him. She was the strongest until Ep 22 and then she turned off her brain

I like these kinds of scheming/ cunning plot dramas, but I can't stand Xiao Xun, Deng Yi and Xie Yan Fang being smug about cooking some evil scheme. Their whole fight is futile, it's not even efficient. It's is like the government lays a broken road, and also monopolize automobile industry, but pay a rival country for the sub par parts and raw materials. The rival country lives on this income and the government get their funds from selling cars and servicing them driving buyers into perpetual poverty. In the end government isn't even pocketing much of the profits as they had to buy sub par parts at high prices...tch tch tch

Wild predictions:
- I feel like Duke Hua is the mastermind, he seemed to be eager to start a war and did not actually lend any help to Ye Li.
- The emperor isn't actually royal blood (Dowager x Zhou Xian Kun) and would backstab MXY, when his throne is threated.
- Duke Hua might be backing Dowager
- Three-way deadlock war between Emperor, MJL and MXY

I totally understand his actions after knowing the truth, but the only thing bothering me is him assuring Ye Li that she is "NOT ALONE" repeatedly. I knew that was going to traumatize both when he was saying it multiple times

Umm ok....well lot of interesting things happened that kept me hooked so I can't understand your feeling of bored.

What do you mean bad? Like Ye Li is the villain?, that her other personality or her mental illness caused these

I don't understand why the empress was surprised to know that Ye Li's mom died. She deployed the army and she couldn't have got the news? Or is it another lie or fake memory Ye Li has to protect herself from the gruesome death of her mother

Did you watch it by fast forwarding...they are setting premises for the juicy parts of the plot, it's doesn't intrigue you?

Ok I was thinking Ye Li was just disliked by her father, and at least had a good life at the mountain, Prince Ding has to live in hell everyday with anger and grief. But the writers had to put a gender equality on traumas for the leads. I'm on ep 6 and I don't like guessing what actually happened in the mountain

Lol the aun't maid is always in utter disbelief or in disappointment with Wei Hao. Even if she is backdrop, she always has the face "this guy again!?"

S1 had better structure and story building, but I prefer this, this is lighthearted, wholesome and funnier

Well its all the same...Han So Hee might be a perfect cast for Cha Hae In, but for Seong Jin Woo, no actor comes to my mind. I, personally choose Park Seo Joon. It's better to not have any hopes for live action adaptations, they are gonna overhype it and under deliver
