An amazing series. Hope they finalise and announce season 2 soon. Waiting for the og duo reunion (namsan/guryongpo). But damm I wish they explored and took advantage of the super powers more. Also the fight between Heesoo's uncle and dad couldn't get bloodier. That was well made.
Thoughts, theories and questions after watching Ep 3 ......
- First thing came to my mind after watching Eunseom and Tanya kiss, hope Saya doesn't dream that memory and go ballistic. If he did, would he try to destroy everything Eunseom built by posing as him. Red claw probably notified Tagon about Mubaek and Eunseom meeting; Saya would have dreamed the weapon shape; would he make a similar weapon and frame Eunseom and Ago for the accident? - Last season Tanya's father needed some power and influence understandable, but this season he has become one of those greedy old men in historical dramas who would do anything to attain what they want. - Am I the one sensing some kind of chemistry between Chaeeun and Saya - Will the reveal of Tagon's true identity sway some Taekhan soldiers towards Tanya or Saya(who is currently Eunseom) - Now that Eunseom is in arthdal where is kanmoru/helper the horse? - Will Momo tribe join alliance once again with Eunseom? - Also love the camraderie/brotherhood of the trio Eunseom, Ipsaeng and Dalsae. Hope it lasts till the end
I feel bad for the producers. They had to spend so much time and money on the animated recap of season 1 because…
What was the reason for cast change? I assumed it was because Lee Joon Gi is good at action and season 2 needed more action scenes, hence the change...was it not the reason?
Watching this without subs with that little acquired korean knowledge :(. Still I loved the action scenes and the screenplay. Excited for more action sequences of Tagon x Eunseom...Also what is the thought process of "Helper" the horse. If I am not wrong it abandoned Eunseom saying he was weak and now it wants to help Eunseom just because Tan Ya says. I assumed it had its own justifications and reasons for its actions, but seems not
I hope they have Heesoo do something significant in the upcoming fight. They only showed how well she can heal…
Yeah all cool. Everything started from my assumption of you reading the webtoon and I used some strong words. As you mentioned there were less than five female characters. But I don't feel like they were down played, it was just that their powers and they were as cool as other superpowers. Mihyun is more like strategic type, you will get to know why she was the youngest rookie to be black op in the upcoming episodes. I had my expectations after the 17v1 fight and Jungwon's scenes for Heesoo. Maybe Kang Full compensated KBS for being the underdog for the 75% of the series, that overshadowed Heesoo. Anyways you might get an idea of what I'm ranting about after completion
I hope they have Heesoo do something significant in the upcoming fight. They only showed how well she can heal…
Your first comment gave me the impression of you reading the webtoon, that is why I commented. I have read the webtoon and that is why I'm writing all my comments with "spoiler" tag, and during the final fight K felt like every other character overshadowed Heesoo's significance. She was appealing more empathically, and I was expecting some action. First of all I love this show and how well made all the character are villains included. So don't get too defensive. I didn't mean to diss Heesoo. It was my yearning for what could have been something more awesome. Also you were the one to ask what I was expecting of Heesoo and I simply answered that. If that offended you I will apologize for that but your statements seem to be contradictory.
I hope they have Heesoo do something significant in the upcoming fight. They only showed how well she can heal…
Umm by that logic, neither KBS's mom nor dad wanted him to use his power. She was hesitant until she finally gives the go while he was about to fly in the roof in the final fight. Also KBS haven't even trained or used his power as much. To me it felt like Damsel in distress and she was the trigger to awaken KBS powers. So I was expecting some kind of athletic/regen combined stunts
Yes, the - more- action we all needed, is coming!!!Super dads along with a super mama will kick some b@tts. The…
I hope they have Heesoo do something significant in the upcoming fight. They only showed how well she can heal as she was getting beaten and shot. Everyone else were demonstrating their powers well
This drama is too awesome. There were no low points. It only peaked. I can't contain the excitement for the final showdown (spoiler alert: interesting tag teams, anime level power growth for KBS, Lee Mihyun skills showcase - whoa moments). I might be exaggerating it too much. Also I hope they release all the remaining episodes together...
Same. Gilchae could be the main lead, but JH love interest gotta be someone else... If that character in prison in the first episode waiting for someon is Gilchae waiting for Jang Hyun they better bring some good justification for that. With the current storyline I don't see that
Gilchae as a character is strong and comes with some rough edges but still I don't feel the need for them to go…
What you mentioned are the exact reasons of my opinion for them to NOT end up together. I would rather wat h their separate life journeys without the love and melodrama aspect
Gil Chae is badly cast as the FL. I see zero visible reason which would make him want to protect her. Feisty is…
I agree with her being fiesty, but isn't that a good trait. JH says he fell exactly because of that, he says "You're better than those bookworm scholars". Also what you mean he didn't risk his life!? He had a cut in the forest, he almost died in the island,...
Everyone knows Gil Chae is the female lead. She`s amazingly detailed and imperfect, much like Jang Hyun. Their…
Gilchae as a character is strong and comes with some rough edges but still I don't feel the need for them to go out of their way to be together. This ending is actually fine with me and I will be glad if JH moved on and found someone else. Gilchae and her people never miss a chance to point out/brag about her love and sadeness, while JH is treated like he was on a vacation or something while she was suffering. That's was the thing that didn't sit well with me and I didn't get disappointed at the end instead the thought first came to me was "why didn't you have this clarity or determination earlier when JH was giving the ultimatum"
Thinking he was fooling around with other women but instead getting his toenails pulled out makes me want to slap…
It's normal for her to not know what happened to him. But she is naive enough to believe everyone else but JH. That's the saddest part. She even goes on to say that JH lied about saving them in the island. Dude was dying from small pox fever after wiping out(almost) a platoon. It's hard for me to empathise with her when she says that it is her heart that crumbles whenever he parts ways , but her actions and conversations with JH says otherwise. She was always harsh with him. In her dream she suffered and crossed 7 seas to meet him but irl I don't see any remote effort, except her searching/waiting for him. What is the use of searching and waiting when you don't believe what he says...
You do realize he has been gone for how ever many years who knows and just returned. Prior to that they were nothing…
Umm the main reason he left to another country is to be far away from her after seeing her pine and heart break for Yeon jun, also his "game of push and pull". I don't agree with the lack of communication part, he clearly states his intentions and what he thinks of Gilchae genuinely everytime. Gilchae had this preformed image of JH and that didn't change throughout this season. Also, JH never interfered after knowing her final decision, he just smiled and left but she had to obliterate the guy to smithereens with that letter. Every "farewell" between JH and Gilchae has been Gilchae acting harshly towards JH
