It feels like only Sun loves Nuea, I can hardly remember their storyline from YDestiny but I think I remember…
judging by sunâs ending phone confession, i think thereâs some sort of past trauma that nuea has that may be explored later, maybe thatâs why he runs. if my memory serves, it was nuea who pursued sun first in y destiny, which is what spoilt brats do lol but ig it also shows that at least nuea wanted sun at the beginning:) no, clearly they love each other, i think weâll learn more about it in the upcoming episodes. as for when itâs set, i donât think itâs a long time away from yd, they seem to still be at uni
august will be packed with period pieces! just hoping that neither turns out a mess it can potentially becomeđ¤ the trailer looked intriguing (or confusing â like a lot of boc things are), and iâm here for the politics and social issues and flower power and economy profs. brushing away my expectations and patiently (no) waiting. itâs been a year and a half and the last 2 months will be the hardestđŹ
iâm enjoying this. idk. itâs nice to be anchored to a sweet little thing like this three days a week. it kind of feels right now like itâs never going to end and i donât really mindđ
so willy has (some sort of) abilities and babe doesnât, which makes it the display of power, not powers. ie,…
i donât believe that either. but there most definitely are people out there who do think that rape is okay. thatâs why itâs better that we are careful about how we approach the topic.
iâm sorry if iâm not being very clear. i donât think iâm capable of getting my point across in a better way. iâm not saying actors owe anyone anything â apologising, feeling bad, being honest etc. but we can always choose how to handle situations. i will surely continue loving them regardless of wether they apologised or not â this is not really the point for me.
the point is, we can all choose how we behave. and expressing awe of the âforbidden attractionâ (talking about fans here, too) was rather harmful imo, in the given situation.

iâm not watching it right now. iâm honestly surprised why iâm still on this comment section. sorry, but i have seen a lot of people praising willy and blaming charlie for âwalking inâ on them â i think thatâs them approving of what was going on. i wish i was just a hater, but i actually love the show. and iâm usually proud of everyone involved in the prod. i know everyone works hard, but i canât be silent about things that i think are not right. btw, a lot of actors expressed gratitude for pointing it out for them.

one thing is enjoying serial killer movies, another is glorifying and/or sexualising what they do â especially publicly (talking about show creators and fans here). i know itâs just a show. but us fans are real people. political correctness has nothing to do with doing right by women and those who have been sexually assaulted (no matter the gender â but we all know itâs mostly women, the showâs target audience)
Just saw a video on YouTube about fans judging the "rape scene" . And I'm like "rape scene"????? Am I missing…
so willy has (some sort of) abilities and babe doesnât, which makes it the display of power, not powers. ie, one person is taking advantage of the other. babeâs behaviour being âstupidâ or âprovocativeâ will never equal âhe had it comingâ. thatâs like telling a girl to wear less âflashyâ clothes, that is, bullcrap. then the buttcrack was there, as well as the towel drop. i donât know and donât care what the creatorsâ intentions were, but the whole scene was clearly sexual, and if it wasnât assault, i donât know what would be (see the initial cast reaction to the episode for more proof). so i almost agree, this was the âoh shit + i might be rapedâ experience. which can only be the result of, well, assault.
not to be dramatic, but the way i donât even care about this anymore. pb is my favourite cast of actors/characters, and now not even kentakim, petechris or winner make me wanna stay. bit sad tbh.
at least it's better then he SA him but he's so good looking and rich. That's the reality of asian fiction. if…
idk if itâs better. itâs about glorifying the perpetrator in both cases. i get what youâre saying. i understand that certain things can be part of the culture and how things are usually done in some types of media. but as viewers, weâd better be careful with our reactions, too. if we donât take the bait and speak up, producers and directors and writers will hopefully soon understand that there are certain tropes you donât just throw into your product without being ready to tackle and discuss them with decency and care.
i will die on this hill. can we please stop putting the âbutâ into the conversations about sexual assault? âhe SAed him butâ¨he (probably) didnât mean itâ. like, how is this relevant? apart from the fact that some of us feel the urge to unvillanise the villain?
I have a question, for the people who say Willy SA'd Babe, which I agree, were yall this upset when Kinn did it…
havenât seen tharntype and not going to, but with kp â yes, it did feel pretty bad, like so many other things that kinn did to porsche (and vegas to pete). things did get glossed over, and weâd better learn from that experience, which i think a lot of people did.
I don't see anyone really talking about it much but can we talk about Alan? No one suspects him but in the trailer…
i agree. itâs possible that babeâs teasing about his age actually got to alan more than weâve seen so far, and that could somehow draw him to tony along with alanâs own view of his body. i think he may be set to have some of tonyâs magical elixir at some point. poor alan. heâs like, only about 36 now? but it surely is no easy task coming to grips with how your body is changing with time. curious how the show will handle this further.
I didnât expect to be writing this about Pit Babe 2, but here we are.Sexual assaultâwhether explicit or impliedâis…
this actually kept me up half the nightđ and not really because of pit babe. i hope i didnât sound like i was trying to attack you yesterday. because surely, we are responsible for our own behaviour based on our reactions, but weâre not responsible for how other people behave based on their reactions, and we canât impose any sort of responsibility for what we think is right or not on them either. even if people will see that scene as hot, and cool, and edgy (which is what i disagree with), well they have every right to do so, whether we like it or not. we can and should speak up for our own sake, but surely not attack each other. radicalism can help sometimes, but i think maybe this is not the case.
relationship coach SAing a âclientâ? kinnporsche didnât teach us anything.
thanks for explaining. i just also feel like adjectives like hot, smug etc. are doing what a lot of people have being doing before â romantisising (and shady, forgive me, is quite an understatement). ig i myself just didnât realise the scale of the problem until todayâs episodeâs ending totally shook me.

but ig people are entitled to vent about their opinions, even when theyâre negativeđ¤ˇââď¸đ
