also forgot to comment last week, but chompoo's internalised homophobia goes crazy. like what do you mean you threw tonnam out of the apt shoeless for god knows how long just because your mother came to visit? neither of these two girlies looks visibly queer. pretty sure chompoo could've just said she's having a fancy dinner with her bestie-turned-flatmate, that's like. a normal thing for straight women to do
i hope there's more to where her paranoia comes from, because so far i don't understand its source. she talks like she comes from a super conservative and strict family, when actually her mom seems to be pretty chill (isn't there a femme gay guy working in her salon?). i just want to know why she's like this
the scene with louis's character... bitch, learn to differentiate between basic friendliness and active flirting?? hate hate hate when you're just being nice and polite to a man and he immediately assumes that you want to fuck his brains out
eh, kind of a nothing sandwich. except maybe for the last episode, which weirdly enough i liked more than the rest of the series. with gmmtv shows it's usually the other way around
this is the FOURTH time i'm seeing kapook in a role where her character has to watch someone she's into get with another person. that's some batshit insane typecasting. i'm gonna start a hashtag #letkapookgetbitches
Wait, this is genuinely excellent so far. GMMTV ladies are talented af, this stupid company needs to stop keeping them in the basement and make more women-led shows, be it GL or hetero lakorns
it was... fine. the struggle over the cgi baby in the last few episodes was a bit ridiculous to watch though not going to lie. the detective's storyline... lemme not even get into that lol. i'm of the opinion that another two seasons of this show didn't need to exist - they didn't add anything new and it ended exactly the same as the first season - the cycle continues on and on as long as there's class disparity somewhere in this world. contrary to the popular opinion, i'm actually okay with that kind of ending, i didn't expect any of the "bad guys" to get their comeuppances because if i wanted that i'd go watch marvel or disney or something. i just didn't think it was worth it to prolong the show for two more seasons just to reiterate that.
I'm on episode 2 currently and i know they wanted the moment with the girlie giving birth to be emotional and touching but all I could think of was "god that baby CGI is rough. am I watching twilight"
