It's indeed very jarring. There's nothing wholesome about cheating. If he wanted something new or if he was tired…
yeah, it is just bizarre to me how the show portrays their affair. there's almost nothing sexual about it even - they're kissing giddily like teens while eating a persimmon, then they dance cutely, and i'm just sitting there like?????? hello?????? what is up with this tone of their scenes. if they're trying to go for "the warden is a grey character" then it is sure as hell isn't working, because him being sweet with dao does nothing for me. i do too hope the son does something, he seems like a decent person
the entire warden x dao thing is so weird to me. he's portrayed as this sleazy and corrupt piece of shit, but then whatever he has going on with dao is for some reason kinda wholesome?? very jarring to me, idk
I'm pretty sure I already said this here when the news of this series came out and I still don't think there's…
considering that all the promotion is solely for offgun (dew's fans on twt were angry about this)... yeah, not a chance. unless they want to surprise the viewers. which i'm all for
But Davin and Lawa just arrived at the pier and Anya was facing the other direction. Nothing wrong there
went and rewatched the scene and she didn't arrive at the same time as them. they were on that pier talking for nearly two minutes. when did she materialize in the middle of the pier? if she was already there, why didn't she turn at the voices behind her? if she wasn't there when they arrived, why did she stop in the middle and turn away? no matter how i try to make that scene work, it just doesn't
is princess anya myopic? why would she stop in the middle of the pier and then act all dramatic like she only…
the entire show is like this. i stand by my opinion that they need to spend more time working on all these shows. i know it's an impossible thing to ask of gmmtv because they need to keep their 3678746874647 artists employed lest their fans blow up the company's building, but i wish they focused on quality over quantity
is princess anya myopic? why would she stop in the middle of the pier and then act all dramatic like she only just saw davin when she and pheng were walking towards him and lava? can anyone teach these people about blocking in cinematography? or at least choose a different setting if you want to go for the element of surprise. jesus christ
i mean i love that this was about the power of friendship or whatever, but also it would be nice to see more kathoey characters having on-screen romance :(
love this show to bits don't get me wrong, but also it's soooo predictable. knew from the start that tetris wasn't the mole. and that mind would have a sob story explaining why she did what she did. and that her last grand redemptive gesture would be rebelling against her piece of shit boss. kinda wish this show would've surprised me at least once but it is what it is i guess
