One of the best vertical dramas I saw with Zeng Hui. Good plot and the actors/actresses really did well. It was exciting and emotional at the same time. Definitely did not waste my time on this. I find it weird that among Zeng's vertical dramas, this has the lowest rating.

I've watched most of Zeng's (ML in this drama) vertical dramas, and some of the newer ones he starred in are decent (except this one)

I love Zeng Hui, I've watched 12 of his vertical series and so far, this has the worst plot. I mean as always Zeng delivered, but his character here sucks as well as the other characters. Add to that the fact that there is no ending makes me so frustrated over this.

That poster actually confused me a lot. I initially thought they were both in the music department of the same uni, just that the FL graduated earlier and became a celebrity. I was shocked when I learned he is in technology.

Yes, Gao Rong Fang said she did not see them French kissing, and Jesse Ren said they did not. He just kept saying he was feeling the scene and was immersed in the acting. But the way Jesse hit his knee as soon as they saw the kissing scene was funny. He even paused the video just to explain his side.

Everybody kept complaining about how Tai speaks slowly, but in reality there are people who are like him. As Takara says, he's usually dumb, but for me that's fine because he is warm and can still think properly when needed. He just thinks too much. I wouldn't go gaga and say this is all great and gush all over, but it was still pretty decent if you like light BL.

It was light, fast watch and no annoying third party or side characters. It was nice, despite being short.

Watched this for Xukai, but damn wasted time really. There were moments but still not a good watch for a movie with great actors, it was wasted.

The Spirealm was also pulled out of iQiyi due to the ban but I heard it's coming back even though iQiyi is a Chinese app. We may see brighter days for Chinese BL. We'll, at least crossing fingers.

Plastic Surgery

Yes, she posted the process in her IG on Jan 2023. She had 3 Type Facial Contouring (Cheekbone Reduction, Square Jaw Reduction, and Chin Tip surgery), had her nose done and Endotine. She also had a post about it in Feb 2023. At the same time, she went for slimming something (can't remember what it was called) so on her Feb post, she really looked different.

True, no nudity or sex scenes, Do Hyun had 1 shirtless scene but it was necessary as he is being treated in the hospital. However, due to the blood and some violence, I don't think this can be considered a family movie, unless the kids are already teens.

It's because it is an occult thriller. It's not the jump scare type. It's not also my cup of tea, but it was nice due to the inclusion of Korean and Japanese folklore and history.

He's not the only cast though. In Be Mine Superstar, the 2nd couple have more steamy scenes than JaFirst. Anyway, I did say that is what I noticed in other BLs when I compared the uncut version and the normal one. For example, in Naughty Babe, the sofa scene was longer in the uncut version, in the YouTube version, it was cut right away.

Uncut versions would usually have the "steamy" scenes longer or uncut. That is what I noticed with the other BLs.
