I had the same thoughts. I initially did not recognize him when he appeared, thought he is another young Chinese actor, but when he started speaking in Thai, I was like...wait, Nonkul?!

He was in 2 Chinese Dramas in 2019 and 1 HK movie in 2021. They said he became famous in China because of Bad Genius so he landed those series.

Oh and yes, they redebuted as Highlight (without Hyunseung) after their contracts ended in Cube. Then Junhyung had to leave the group (my biggest heartache since he is my bias) after being wrongfully dragged into the Burning Sun scandal. They've released good songs/albums as Highlight, too.

Beast is actually 2nd Gen. But yes, most 2nd Gen idols and even 3rd Gen has delved into acting. Some have even quit becoming idols and are now just full time actors. Beast is my bias group. I know KPop since Super Junior but it was beast that brought me to the KPop rabbit hole and there was no turning back after that.

When Nonkul came out on Ep 11, I was so pleasantly surprised! I really loved him in I Feel You Linger in the Air!

MMH is one of my fave manhwas and getting made into a KDrama with good actors was heaven for me. And being a B2uty/Light, adding Gikwang in the cast is icing to the cake. Love love it. 💙

This is so true!! Especially for those that didn't know when the songs were released. It is also good to note that since the year where they are in is the year that BTS debuted, so definitely they are not yet as popular as they are now and they do not have much mainstream songs yet.

The last episode just called to the whole Army all together. My breath got caught when she said Dynamite and he responded with Spring Day. I was like...people, those weren't released yet that time...

Already expected Jungwon as one of the mafias because in one of the scenes at the start when they were showing the first time the mafias had their meeting, she was already shown. Dunno if it was a slip in editing or what. Still enjoyed it. Sad that the Yoonseo and Junhee were dragged into the game when Yoonseo didn't really know what was happening and Junhee cannot save Seun due to his trauma.

Love O2O, You Are My Glory and Falling Into Your Smile have fluffy and confident FLs and mature MLs. All 3 have gaming themes though so there are fantasy elements. I also liked Hidden Love and Mr Crow & Ms. Lizard.

It's true, and this is not the only CDrama that is like this. I watched others wherein there are no translations of text messages, articles they are reading, news flash on TV and signages...

I started at Episode 26 after I saw a clip in YT. Happy to say I still understood the plot and was saved in watching 25 episodes.

I am so frustrated with the amount of texting in this drama and no subtitle at all to give context on what the conversation is. I wonder why CDramas are like this..

Episode 26. After the wedding event wherein Yu You found out that Shi Yan is not the uncle but it is actually the driver that is the uncle, she went to a spa/hot spring with Shi Yue. And there, 3 of them meet. Shi Yue said Shi Yan is her uncle.
