If this was 'the ending that we want' according to Xu Haiqiao, then I am starting to question his understanding of the ending that we wanted 😂 In every sense, not just Aoxiang and Qiaoqi... Like wtf was that ending rushed and unexplained? 😂😂
It was still a good watch overall, but honestly, if I knew the ending, I probably wouldn't have bothered watching so diligently, trying not to skip any scenes in fear that I might miss something important 😅😅😅

It's a very descent one time watch 🙌 I think if anyone gets tired of those idol dramas and other non-modern genres, they should absolutely give this a go. It's a good drama overall 🤌

Well, Xu Haiqao seems to be a damn good actor, because I am sooo annoyed by Duan jr so far I want to strangle him and chop him up in pieces 😂 I know they said he and miyu's chef friend end up together in the end, but I hope he will get a kind of truly humbling moment before that, because if he doesn't become just a tiny bit better I will feel sorry for Qiaoqi 😂😂😂 I thought I hated Wei Siyuan and Miyu's ex husband more, but during last few episodes Duan is just asking for a beating honestly. The way he talked to Miyu in the hall in 22nd episode..... god... I would have stabbed him if I was Miyu and holding a knife 😂

I have yet to watch that other one, but this one does focus more on her character compared to the ML, so I am really happy with that 🤌🙌

He said "It's the ending you want" so I think they end up together. Though he also mentioned that his character is going to suffer a bit before that (probably more due to business related stuff, but maybe love too). Sadly he hasn't mentioned if we get any intimate scenes or at least a kiss. 😅

Duan is certainly interested in her romantically but doesn't even realize yet. I am looking forward to their future interactions when he fails repeatedly at getting her attention. 😂 I love seeing men realize money doesn't always do the trick 😂😂

That Nepo Baby will surely fail, because in these types of dramas main lead always wins 😅🤌 But if it's not that scum Wei but Duan, that one even if he looses in business he seems to be set to win at love 😅😅
By the way, I agree about Miyu. She seems to be gaining sense with each coming episode and it really makes me happy. Her character growth is gradual but very steady 🙌

Actually, this is what a well-made mature drama looks like with seasoned actors. 🤌 I've seen too many "idol dramas" with pretty cast but terrible script, so after seeing this drama I know why I didn't like modern Chinese dramas before and what I was truly lacking. 🙌 I started this for Xu Haiqiao, out of curiosity, but stayed for other actors and plot.

Guys, if you see this comment and know any other drama similirat to this, with older experienced actors and normal plot, I would be happy to receive some recommendations 🌺💕

I binged episodes 20-23 today and LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING... I was never a fan of Ju Jingyi, but this role was sooo made for HER 😱 After episode 23 I was left completely speechless. I stopped caring about another couple, even if they all die in the end I need JiWu couple to have a very happy ending after all of that... OMG

Ok, I have finally watched all 4 episodes and I can say near the end of 4th episode I like where this is going. I was annoyed by FL and her indecisiveness for a while, but I also understand the character growth and development will take a while because this drama has 38 episodes. I am ready to follow the pace as it is. I ak currently watching this as a filler drama along 2 other costume dramas, so it is a nice change and variety for me. Not bad for a modern drama, because it's not very similar to others in this genre. 🙌 I'll keep watching and write another comment when I reach ep 20.
