Saw many people saying that this was very similar with the drama " Shopping King Louie" and i must agree they are indeed similar with the obvious differences that this is a historical drama and the politics involved, even the female lead is the same.
Im not a big fan of historical dramas, mainly because i find the all the politic involved boring AF, so there's only a few that i really enjoyed watching, and this is now added of my list of historical dramas that i really liked.
This drama was not boring at all and i didn't skip much, but there's a few changes that i would make:
1st- i wish that ML had is memory sooner, but if that happened the writers probably wouldn't have material for 16 episodes.
2nd- Some actions from the brother were not my favorites, like i know you had to work with your enemy to protect your sister, but if you had time to sleep and get pregnant THE DAUGHTER of your enemy/ CROWN F*CKING PRINCESS you had more than time to make a quick visit to your sister that for more than 10 years every month went to the place that YOU chose. And in the end after promising your sister that you would leave with her you abandon her once again because of your lover.
This movie costed 50 million dollars to make and after watching it you can obviously tell that most of that money was used to hire all of the A listers Hollywood actors and the rest was used on the awful scriptwriting and not bad, but not so good CGI.
Acting:
Many famous actors and in my opinion the little girl outshined them all, including Tilda who in my opinion is a very good actress
PLOT/ Scriptwriting
This movie has a great plot, but the witting in was atrocious, there's no good dialogue between characters and many things fell out of place.
Final comment
I saw this movie after i saw a clip of it on TikTok and sadly i was disappointed, i wish they used the budget where he was actually needed and not on so many famous actors just to commercialize the movie (Sadly this didn't work because the movie only made 2 million dollars on box-office)
Episode 1 was really good! The main 3 are good-looking, plot was engaging and it also hurt! The opening scene…
I'm very confused, the synopsis says, "Tae Young and Jung Hyun can’t deny the inexplicable feelings that seem to arise every time the other is near.", but watching the first 2 episodes it looks like the end game is HTY and CJW.
I don't like TJH and his girlfriend. In the previews, she basically takes QS's job. And she's over here talking…
Nepotism baby strikes again. I dont like they way the writers are going, i am going to put this drama on pause and finish when its over, my anxiety runs wild with these types of characters so its better for me to watch the rest when its all over over and this way i suffer all at once instead of every week waiting for new episodes..... and we cant forget that we also are going to get male lead ex girlfriend joining the party
Wow the rating drops from 9.2 last i checked to 8.2, What happened?
i watched a review channel called Avenuex and she said that the actress that plays female lead is getting A LOT of hate that seems on purpose (maybe because she is switching agencies)
Im sorry to the people who liked this drama, but i must say this was one of the worst written Chinese drama that i have ever seen.
I dont know how the actors thought this was a good script when they decided to act in this trash, which is a shame because i really like both the male actor and actress from their previous dramas.
This was released in 2021 and they still make Female Leads acting like they are teenagers going through puberty (especially in the first few episodes).
This drama also had one of the worst characters that i ever seen " MI GU" with a friend like this who needs enemies, she is a fake b*tch who i personally would never be friends again, but one thing is certain the Zhou Ran d*ck must be very good cuz the way she was behaving is mesmerizing to me
Everyone seriously needs to chill with the "their ruining K-dramas" or "it's just horrible and westernized now".…
Its because the viewers put in their minds that when they are watching a Korean drama, they need a utopia fairytale romance and don't accept other genres. If they watched older movie/ dramas, they would realize that most of the best thrillers/drama come from south Korea.

3rd- not enough happy moments in the end

The vibes that the 1st and 2nd episodes gave me is that the "bottom" author and the publishing Ceo were supposed to end up together.
When i tell you that after i read the synopsis i only thought that "two tops can't make a bottom" I'm not kidding
