Every time Jinxiu kingdom my finger hurts with how first I be pressing the button to move forward like take guess…
yea same for me, i ended up skipping too. i think many become least interested in the seemingly villain who chose to play the sad anti-hero in front of the jinxiu empress/ emperor but conniving mastermind behind betrayal and lies; the guy who gets chased by a sheltered princess who was blinded by love and selfishness- and there is no good story buildup-- if he was going to be the villain, i expected that he would show the more villain side of him actually. so obviously the audience would favor the story revolving the main leads instead.
It’s kinda sad because it’s a big misunderstanding. Like I understand how Yao felt, but it’s not Sui Ge’s…
Yea, looks like it. To think if it was the PM who sent those assassins to kill the young FSG and MY; and most likely manipulated MY into tricking and betraying FSG by using his hatred and lust for revenge or jealousy later on. That is just sad. Just another pawn in the bigger game. I believe should be the biological son- the adopted son was a different guy with different personality.
I must say I enjoyed the series thoroughly. Think I marathoned through the weekend long time ago- have to watch it again to give it a more justified review.
wow, all the fluffy rom com trolls eh? and you gals can't even spell your words right? why not you show me YOUR media literacy then. I think everyone has a right to say what they want to say.
i have to say this once.... even though it deviates from other comments... i love all the OSTs... they are just so ... the best.. i could listen to them all day and let my soul melt with the mellowness and beauty... they have the best singers - Zhou Shen, Curley Gao, Zhang Zining, Zhang yuan, ning huan yu , their music compositions are so good and blend so well with the story and characters. masterpieces
YY breathes magic into the mundane.. as always. He is one of the actors capable of acting naturally under imaginary circumstances but only comes occasionally.. once or twice a year maybe..
She is good. Her acting skills are on a different class. Every character or role that she took on was different, she became that distinct character and I could not recognize her at first in snowstorm. Like, i didn't recognize she was the same girl in reset or crazy little thing called love. They were totally different personalities.
Man... this is GOLD. This is what I called ART. This is what I called a series that deserves to be nominated for awards. I'm totally hooked. I was never bored with their interesting lines, acting, all that cool moves that happen at the crazy right times and those moments that seem so retro. It reflects the director/screenwriter's sentiment as well Idk I could totally feel it. And so what if it's a sad ending? Well. for the first time, in a long time, I'm looking forward to a sad ending--- and I hope it's a beautiful sad but witty, cheeky ending, or even a pragmatic one, with a legacy to roll on. Whatever it is I'm sold. It's LIT.
i actually like this series better than 2019... more depth to the characters and story, especially the female lead (i love how they make her incredibly intelligent here with her witty lines, one rare character i actually have respect for) and of course my bias for hu yi tian <3
