It's probably because your region is not part of the accessible parts. iQIYI only has broadcast rights for certain territory and not all for this drama since it's not their production. If you use VPN, you can change your region to one that has access to watch. Or go with the above alternatives like Viki and MangoTV.
I just bought the premiere membership today because of iqiyi's annual sale and holy niu niu, watching WHD and BL in 4K is like vitamins for my eyeballs. Anyway, idk if it's because I've already read the novel and know the outcome and what to expect, but I'm still highly enjoying watching everything gradually play out and not feeling so impatient as some others are.

That party, tree climbing, and the guy are additions from the drama. None of those things happened in the novel. I think they want to add more drama during the ”cold war” stage. He’s still being sweet to her even when he’s mad. She got really sick and ended up in the hospital, but no one was with her to help take care of her. He found out and came and did all sort of sweet things for her, then they made up afterwards and that’s when a sincere courtship begins. Before that, she had tried to apologize but he blocked her WeChat. She got so pissed that she just deleted him. It’s funny after they make up and he finds out she did that. Once they’re together there are no problems. Just a lot of them being sweet and couple-y

She waited around for hours but he never showed (even though he did come hours earlier, but sat in his car just watching her without her seeing). She already had a feeling something was going down. When she finally called to ask why he wasn't coming, his reply was "So I can act with you?" And that was that. The whole build up to it made that line feel like a stab, but I'm not sure how they'll go about it in the drama.
