I wouldn't even call this an open ending lol. For me SE would be one or either leads die, HE is they both live with an HEA, and OE is YWS goes off to live out the rest of her life alone, but free while GZY remains as SW of the Gong and longing for her... then at least in our mind we can make up that somewhere down the line, he defies traditions and go off in search of her or something. While this ending just make you scratch your head like so... is episode 25 on at 19:00 hour tomorrow??

Oh god, the poster fiasco for the building sweeping made my mouth dropped that they could be that blatantly obvious. The ending for the leads was trash. It wasn't a HE, BE, or even OP. Just a cliffhanger as if you're still waiting for a new episode tomorrow and that's the worst kind of ending. Stringing viewers along with the hope of a 2nd season. ZLH replied to a comment GJM made back in March about how he was struggling to find a proper title for this drama until he came up with Yun Zhi Yu and ZLH jokingly said maybe it should be Qian Zhi Jue... Now we know why.

I didn't hear such good things about the last firefighters dramas so I'm hoping this will be a better one.

The only things I liked were the visuals, martial arts scenes and acting. This was the most headache-inducing behind the drama watching experience I've ever had. I will stay far away from future GJM projects from now on. The one positive takeaway I've gained from this was that all the negativity turned me from a neutral drama watcher into a ZLH fan and showed another side to YSX's acting. I will support their projects in the future.

Because this is a costume drama while Bright Eyes is modern. They already aired MJTY in September for costume, but not one modern yet. So makes sense that Bright Eyes would be next. But then again, Sunshine by My Side aired in September as well so who knows... I guess since that one is also airing simultaneously on TV and SoKP is a web drama, it's a different category. Maybe only one web drama of each genre is allowed per month.

The bad news is iQiyi already filled its costume drama quota for September so the earliest it could air would be at least Oct. 1st and not immediately after MJTY.

During ZLH's livestream with Gillette today, he said that this drama is coming very very soon. So the possibility of it airing after MJTY ends is getting higher.

I was hoping her body was so disfigured that the face was unrecognizable so therefore it's a fake and the real her was still alive somewhere. But alas, they didn't go that route. Poor YWS, HYS, and YM Yue.
