I was hooked from the first episode. I am a dear fan of clichés and THIS drama is the Godmother of clichés, it basically started the kdrama romance formula.. The two main leads, Choi Jin Shil and Ahn Jae Wook, although not a lot of scenes filmed together, you can see the amazing chemistry whenever together. AND THAT LAST SCENE *cries with happiness*(my FAVOURITE ending in a kdrama ever). I must admit, Choi Jin Shil had amazing chemistry with both male leads, so I would of been fine with either male lead ending up with her. Cha In Pyo's character was such a refreshing 2nd male lead...it was nice that we didn't end up have a messy love triangle.
Although some questions in this drama were unanswered. I liked majority of the plot, this could have gone in so many different ways so glad it didn't become a dark heavy mess, it had just the right amount of romance and the right amount of agnst to still be enjoyable and keep up interest. Even though there are some characters you would like them to act their age it was still good, and when they get their karma it feels very satisfying. This is a type of drama you can rewatch any day and have that feel good feeling with a splash of nostalgia.
I think what helped me enjoy this drama was three main factors; 1. The acting. 2. The music. and 3. THE 90'S HAIRSTYLES AND FASHION!!!! I LOVE 1990's hairstyles(weird, I know) and the fashion, it is a BIG yes from me. If todays actors had Ahn Jae Wook & Cha In Pyo's hairstyles I would watch it just for that hahahaha. I downloaded the OST and now a massive fan of Ahn Jae Wook.
All in all I really loved this drama. This will have a special place in my heart.

This drama, whilst deciding whether to watch it or not, I thought this was not going to be my cup of tea, I told myself If i didn't like it by the end of episode 1 then I'd drop it. I've been in a drama slump and I could not finish a single drama.
Not only does this drama have kick ass characters, but also strong women (which is a breath of fresh air from the regular damsel in distress trope). The plot was intriguing, satisfying and heart pounding. I was so immersed in the actors acting I felt like this was real..
Can I just say I wasn't really a massive fan of Lee Joon Gi, but oh my god I am so angry at myself for not watching this sooner. His acting made this drama worth the while, i love the vigilante trope, I love how he is so charismatic and so diligent when he needs to be. His expressions, his martial arts, you can tell he worked really hard for this drama, and it paid off.
I'm 100% recommending this to everyone I know who watches Kdramas.
