I wonder if I’d appreciate it more had I watched the anime or read the manga. I mean I liked both main and they’re superb in this movie. I guess the 2 hour movie couldn’t insert all the technicalities of how both realized they’re attracted to each other romantically. Or I’m just sleepy forcing myself to finish watching

Reading the comments just made me realize this movie was never really intended for international audiences. The movie was a success in Japan. It’s fiction and meant to be enjoyed as a fiction

So if you watch this movie without reading the manga or watching the anime, you’d probably really enjoy it as a feel good shojo movie.

Manga/anime fans or antifans somehow feels incest or grooming. But it’s good that the movie didn’t show any clips of when isaku was a child

So uhm higashige is one lucky guy. But I have no complains with his acting skills so let's just enjoy this 2025 battle royal. Because it's been a while. Japan never disappoints

I read the manga and I'm pretty sure I watched the series because I liked the manga

And Meguro is finally showing up in episode 4. Although hearing his voice for each episode narratives is also nice

I was never interested in horse racing and always wondered why it's a thing in Japan. I thought I'd watch for Meguro Ren but his character is not even introduced yet. But I'm already hooked because episode 2 is genius entertainment. I was in tears

I swear this kid is everywhere in everything I watched these days

It's not my usual genre but it felt like I'd get nightmares if I didn't finish the movie. I'm glad it's heartwarming in the end

Look at the casting!! Of course you'd want to watch it. But what was that really? It's like watching a stage play

It's a 10 because Oguri Shun and Akanishi Jin visuals are overloaded happiness. And it's a feel good story. Everyone has to watch it
