It is not a problem with me as long as it doesn't affect the flow of the drama. Check out the recent Cdramas even…
Not available, I bought it online via shopee 😬 As for the taste I wouldn't describe it as sweet. Just crispy 😂

Drama The Day of Becoming You immediately crossed my mind while reading your comment. That damned dried Jujube snacks 🤣 Somehow they succesfully brainwashed me into buying that and it was yummy 😂

he's still a bit stiff but it's a different from cold-ice characters he has always portrayed. at least i'm happy…
Ahh Word of Honor is a small hit tho in China 😆 def not as huge as The Untamed but that drama is Gongjun and ZZH's breakthrough. I'm recalling memories when it was airing these two trended on weibo almost everyday, few times in a day.

Also because of WOH they currently have very strong social media engagement numbers or online traffic, you can check it on supertopic ranking.. currently they're at 4th and 5th (#1 Xiao Zhan, #2 Wang Yibo, #3 Cai Xukun). Supertopic ranking fluctuates 24/7 but solid fanbases make it stable. GJ & ZZH are considered as new liuliangs now 😆.
To know what is liuliang you can read this article https://sipoftea.net/2020/12/16/c-biz-liuliangs-big-four-little-three-double-top-and-three-bursts

Their resources are getting better too. I guess it sums up how successful WOH is even though their online views isn't that high compared to other dramas and their budget is low.

Yup yup Story of Yanxi Palace is a perfect example.

When I said everyone seems to feel their faves are the best, I refer to international fans who often assume particular celebrities are popular in China just because those celebs have quite large number of international fandoms. Sometimes they assume their favorite dramas of those celebrities doing so well too in China just because it has huge following among international fans when in reality it is not even close to be hit drama. I met this type of fans too often. Truth to be told, domestic and global's taste are often not in line. I take The Bad Kids as an example, that drama can be said underrated among international audiences but in China it was a huge hit last year ><

A-list based purely on acting? There is no official list, it's knowledge that can be obtained by digging and observing c-ent for years without being biased (saying without being biased because I met many people who think their faves are the best in everything 😅). However A-list purely based on acting are definitely Ge You, Zhou Xun, Zhang Ziyi, Gong Li, Chen Kun, Sun Li, Zhao Wei, Huang Xiaoming, Deng Chao, Huang Bo, Li Bingbing, Chen Daoming, Shen Teng, etc like everybody knows them and their acting skills are top notch. For younger generation probably Zhou Dongyu is the one who is on her way to reach that high pedestal, among people in her age she is in level on her own now in movie industry, even though she received criticism in drama cause people think her acting skill in movie and drama is completely different

I hope so, but TMOPB is too high to be standard. Their views count alone is 52 B.
TMOPB was already 50 B in 2018 though. it was called "hit drama" for a reason ^^

I come here everyday to check if the viewer numbers increase or not. I really hope this show succeeds like TMOPB.…

Narina. Some one mention that views count only apply in China not international fans, is that true? Then I don’t…
Yes it's true. The views count is based on chinese streaming site

We must watch on official channel because:
1. Appreciate all people who involved in YAMG production.
2. Pay for subs. You love it when english sub is available so fast, right? illegal platforms like dramacool, kissasian, etc STOLE the subs from official platforms. If these platforms think their memberships aren't selling well because majority of people prefer to watch ilegally, they're gonna close down just like what happened to DRAMAFEVER. If you're old drama watcher you definitely know who they are. Sometimes their logo was included in the ending credit of kdramas. Imagine if we're back to years ago where the subs for chinese dramas were really hard to find, we relied on fan-subs 😭.
3. Tencent will have internal data from their global branch aka WeTV and they will use it for future decision making. Who knows they'll hold fanmeeting in your country? or at least make exclusive feature like fast-track available in your region.
4. They're currently targeting international audiences that's why WeTV Global Ambassadors are chosen. If nobody watch on their official channel, don't you think they probably think they're flopping so hard and gonna stop caring about international audiences, pretend they don't exist and in result we won't have subs anymore....
5. So what if our views doesn't count. We've sent supports for them by watching legally. How about thinking like this... you worked so hard knitting cardigans day and night, then your friend plagiarized it and sell it. Her products are selling better than yours because she sells it with cheaper price. everybody around you support her products and side eyeing people who buy from you, asking, "why buying in expensive price when from *your friend* it is super cheap, it's the same anyway". how do u feel?

Ah I see. I haven't watched Go Ahead even though it was hit drama last year in mainland. I heard the second half was kinda underwhelming and received criticism from cnetz, somehow it affects my mood to try haha XD Is he really that stiff there? Even more stiff than Song Weilong?

I always feel like Yang Yang's acting is a bit stiff.. Is it better in this drama?
I can feel Yu Tu's struggle based on Yang Yang's expression and behavior. I guess this is a signal of improvement!
