Yeah I agree it's cringy but have u ever had dark moments in life, to the point you need something silly, cringy yet hilarious drama to coping with stress? (●´⌓`●)
My first impression for the first 6 eps: The strongest selling point of this drama is they have Ni Ni and Liu Shi Shi who not only super beautiful and gorgeous but also good at acting. As for the plot, it isn't that as amazing I expected plus the male casts aren't that attractive either (ofc this is subjective, sorry). It's slow and kinda boring on Nansun's part. Her story is only interesting when the annoying Yong Zheng shows up. Editing, settings, filter, bgm, and main leads' fashions are good.

tbh don't really trust their schedule, I've been fooled this year because of I believe those so-called ~schedule~ that I read back in 2019. in cdrama airing date can change in the last minute (｡ŏ﹏ŏ). I used to believe it like you just because it was from official Tencent ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽.
Better to rely on news about their broadcasting license. Duoluo Continent recently has received one, it means: one step closer to its premiere date! for comparison: Legend of Fei got broadcasting license on October and it aired on December. Duoluo Continent got it on November... most likely would air in Q1 or Q2 for sure.

yeah (⊙_◎) but if they want to fit to the real historical figure, this King will have a child from his concubine which I assume in this drama that concubine is Jo Hwa Jin..
I really don't like documenter style of movie/drama except for genre mystery/suspense/thriller, but judging only based on ep 1 will be unfair. Gonna give more chance to this drama, maybe watch 2 more eps to decide. Not bad tbh, just not my cup of a tea (눈‸눈)
tbh the way those bullies didn't recognize Jukyung with makeup was strange (ಠಿ_ಠ) especially the one who stalked her IG everyday. the difference between these Jukyung(s) are clear skin/not. but well... let's pretend the difference is really significant.
I don't really think Jo Hwa Jin is evil. We think she's a bit evil because we see from So Yong's perspective. Remember other sageuk drama like Jang Ok Jung? Queen In Hyeon seems evil and annoying in this drama because we see it from Jang Ok Jung's perspective and we are biased towards Jang Ok Jung so much as the world revolves around her. Meanwhile, in other sageuk dramas that have Queen In Hyeon's character... this queen is really pitiful and nice. Jang Ok Jung is the evil one~~
Well, I am not saying So Yong in this drama is evil, just wanna suggest to see things from many perspectives instead of judging everything quickly. and also, keep watching! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
